8x silver haze, 1x great white shark, 2x 600watt hps, 8x 32watt 2' HO T5, straight to 12/12, 104days.

total weight: 1169.1g = 41-3/4 oz = 2lbs 9-3/4oz
popcorn: 216.4g = 7-3/4oz
nuggets: 952.7g = 34 oz = 2lbs 2oz

and for what it's worth:

1456watt light total (600+600+256)
0.8g/watt
1817kwh (1456watt * 104d * 12h / 1000)
0.64g/kwh

note that the lights were dimmed by digital ballast for the first few weeks. side lighting wasn't added until about a month or so into the grow. to keep things simple and to be conservative in my calculations, i just went with max wattage for the entire duration.

yield/plant:

silver haze 5oz/plant. it was pretty crowded. i probably would've gotten the same yield with about 1/2 as many plants with just another week or two of veg time. good yield per plant had a lot to do with the strain itself.

great white shark 1-1/3oz/plant. it was neglected in the shadows until i popped in the side lighting, which helped, but was too little too late.

I've been doing this since the late 1980's and I've never seen anyone get 8 oz of a plant in a 3 month grow period. EVER!
I have one now that i'm sure to get that much from in a 3 month grow. Its over 5 foot tall. Im about to harvest it, Ill tell you when its dry what it was.

I have averaged 8 oz's per plant several times......I only get to grow 6 at a time so I try to make the best of it.....and 8 oz's per plant seems to be doable...........I will post a pic of a crop that I had over 8 oz's per plant ......This crop was less than three months from well rooted clones.........nitro..

Your rockin it..props to ya, I too am only able to run 6 at a time legally and your spot on for weight..maybe even should be more but certainly respectable and all as it should be. Once a guy has grown for a while and has his system dailed in 8oz per plant is easily obtainable and your good proof of it. Merry Xmas

I dig how you were honest about popcorn bud vs nugs, alot wouldn't be so honest...righteous. Its also nice to see that I am not the only one who belives in the math of it all, its a pain but gives you a honest benchmark to go by and improve on. You consider changing up your lighting? maybe use some LED with your HPS...how long you veg for?

the only thing i can see good about running fewer plants and putting more wieght on them is to stay within the legal limit. i take that same two lights and space thro more plants same yield

So far the plant I have, I have pulled 5.5 oz dry off it and I still havent cut the main cola, also there are two limbs that I am sure have near an oz on them still on the plant.

i run a 4'x8' flood table and 1200w of light, i average over 1g per watt
Thats a very respectful average. I average just about a gram per watt myself and anytime you can pull 3/4's of a gram or more per watt your doing something right or got lucky, lol

i have run 6 batches, a different strain each time and i average 272 gr/ plant post cure when im running 5 plants. but when i choose to run more plants i still get around 1300-1400 grams, just less per plant. but i run my plants tall, i have a tall tent allowing me to veg them longer before i put them in to flower, so i veg for at least 8 weeks. Im running a 1000w hps.

I dont really have an average i run anything from sativa doms to indica doms and everything in between. I lst top fim scrog all strain dependant. Lol

PROPS to ya......I too do not always go for the quantity over quality...I try to alternate each run so it all balances out. I'd much rather grow for the love of great smoke then the dollar but its the real world and bills need to be paid so thats the reason for going for high yields every other run.
