Autoflowers outgrowiing my grow box.

My apologies for the spelling error in the title.

Hey guys, this is my third go around with growing cannabis and I have decided to do an exclusively autoflower grow. The strains in question are Easy Ryder (1) and G-13 Labs Quicksilver (5). They were germinated on February 22nd and moved to 3.5 gallon grow buckets on March 4.

Now the Easy Ryder is doing absolutely awesome and looks to be about halfway through flower with awesome trich development, however the Quicksilvers are a different story. My friend had received these seeds a couple months ago and gave them to me under the false assumption that they would grow relatively similar to the only other autoflower we were familiar with, Easy Ryder.

Well, it is already around week 8 and the Quicksilvers have not begun to flower yet (they are advertised as flowering at about 6-8 weeks, so I'm not worried about that). The issue lies in the grow space. The plants are about a foot and a half tall now and I am really worried about the stretch during flowering.

My Box: 4ft tall x 4 feet long x 2.5 feet deep.
Lighting: 400w HPS with aluminum reflector
Ventilation: Two 50CFM bathroom fans, one as exhaust one as intake.

SCROG unfortunately is out of the question for two reasons. One being the big beautiful Easy Ryder I have going and they other being that Quicksilver (fem) has a pretty bad reputation when it comes to plants being males or hermies so I would hate to try to get every single male branch out of a 5 plant SCROG.

LST is not completely out of the equation, however I really think it might be a little late, and also the plants have basically taken up the entire box, leaving basically no room for tie-downs.

Is there anything that I could do to potentially "stunt" their growth? I really am grasping at straws here and have no idea what I am going to do if they get too large.

another form of supercropping is snapping the twisting the stems to snap at certain spots. I however am not familiar witht he process yet but I will be soon ;) good luck!
