Autoflowering plant showing sex after 7 days from seed (even if it is a male)

believe it or not, 7 days ago this plant was a seed, my own created seeds I named 'snowmatic'. a cross between snowryder and green o matic(both auto strains).

I know autoflowering plants flower quickly, but this is just crazy, 7 days(almost 8 now) and its clearly a male.

thoughts?

yeh im a micro cfl grower, i ran out of room on my 'shelf' within the box that is near to the light because the mother plant i got this seed from is still going(waiting for tric's to go amber and some seeds to finish) so a little bit of stretching.

im hoping all the seeds will have this superfast autoflowering trait, i could be onto a winner.

how many have you sprouted? how many seeds do you have?

and good job on making a auto seed. now to see how stable your creation is

i gave away 3 seedlings to a friend who wanted to grow outdoors, but he soon found his plants eaten and dug up, which left me with this as the only seedling.

im going to germinate some more soon as they are ready.

also i assumed breeding a stable auto with another stable auto would give me a stable auto. Im not very good at the genetics, dominant and recessive traits etc but I always assumed it would be auto.

Im not quiet sure. i just read its hard to get a stable auto without going through many plant breedings blah blah. i dont breed so yeah. just going by what ive seen other people say

If the auto-flowering trait is recessive then any auto-auto mating will yield an auto-offspring. If it takes multiple generations to get an expression of the trait it's likely to be recessive, or it must come from both parents for the trait to express in the offspring so hence any two plants with the trait will breed true for that trait.

Is that what you observed with your breeding?

that is corrct that two stable autos as parents will give stable seeds

that early male is good to use as a parent his gens would speed things up

shame I killed him off, I dont want/need any males, ive got enough seeds :D

I hope this trait is in the females too.

You haven't gone to one of the "Professor of Marijuana" seminars have you and stole one of his guarded secrets? bongsmilie
