Autoflower yield?

I just started growing feminized autoflowers in a 4x2 grow tent under a 300w hps, and after throwing some rookie mistakes in there, i watched as i killed a few of the small number of seedlings I had :/ But the last 3 that have made it are going strong and I've started to wonder about the overall yield I should expect. I've read alot on descriptions of seeds saying yields per m[SUP]2[/SUP] But I'm more looking for someone's actual result, so the question I ask, how much are you typically yielding per plant with autoflowers? I know the strain will affect it, but I'm just looking for a broad number of what to expect.

Its completely strain dependent and can range from half an oz to a few oz's
A lot of growers judge by grams per watt as the light provides the energy for the plant its loosely correlated to yield

As a new grower you should try and get .5 gpw or 150 grams off that light

impossible to know. soil, mycos, type of pot, temps and nutes all factor into the equation along with lights. autos are still developing as well, so often you may wind up with wildy different phenos. I've ordered 5 packs and gotten 5 very different, ultimately untelling, and unreliable phenos.

more info would be nice.

Not to be a broken record, but you literally can get 1gram or 4 ounces (112grams) from the same strain depending on how you grow it. It's kind of a confusing topic because cannabis grows differently than most other plants. It doesnt make normal flowers or fruits, so you cant guess their size before they start to flower and then you can get a closer (but still not perfect) estimate.

I recently got 80 grams trimmed, dried, and cured off a Dutch Passion White Widow Auto. I consider 50 grams a decent yield. I use a BlackStar 270 Chrome, Plagron Grow Mix, and sometimes Fox Farm nutes and sometimes Canna Nutrients. I'm starting to prefer the Canna Nutrients though.

It's easier to give estimates by growing experience than how much money you can spend on ultrasuperbud2000.
For a first time with autos a half ounce would be a rewarding lesson for me. On my second run with chillies growth rate is already the double of my first try.

IMO, a perfect first run may feel rewarding, but not as much as getting to know your plants by trial and error. (not fatal mistakes of course)
One grows a lot of weed and one is an expert in growing it.
