Hey guys! Here’s my white whidow and critical jack! The smaller one the widow is at Week 10 and the bigger one jack is at Week 11. How much time do you think they have left?

Put them on water only .... let them keep fading out.
Most autos finish under 90 days. More pistil recede and hardening off.
Forget the “ what week of flower “ .... autos need to finish “ WHEN THEY FINISH “ .

Go only by bud maturity / trich at calyx doneness only. Not leaf. Harvest estimates from breeders are always just “ an estimate “.

They are looking very good.

Thanks man! The white widow still looks like it has some time, buds aren’t as big and leaves are green and healthy. Some people told me they had autos go 15-16 weeks so I’m a little confused. I think I cut my plants a little early last Time so I’m just trying to figure it out

Why? You then go on with some sounds advice about letting them finish, not sure why you are telling him to starve his nice plants. I had a Dinafem Critical Jack photo go for 16 weeks in flower. OP I would just stay the course, your girls look fine.

They are autos ... they are hardwired to finish UNDER a preset life.
Sure photo strains can run 15 weeks or so. But autos can and often do finish under the normal 90 day windows. SATIVA heavy can go long from time to time. All I grow is autos.

Autos CAN operate like a photo seed , sometimes requiring a force or light manipulation down on light cycle to finish. Those look perfectly normal for time frame. A ween down in Nutes is perfectly normal for the plant to use its “ stored “ resources ( and fade ) as it is LIVING off of itself. Not only are you matching the closing end of life for the auto , you resist the constant buildup of unnecessary Nutes that the final stages will not FULLY utilize.

By letting the plant PULL from itself , helps burn off the excess Nutes. IF any.
This killing off the myth of flushing at end since you are not adding excess.

A perfect example of this :

Autos stop using most nitrogen around week six anyways as the plant now is in full mid bloom and not looking to add new leaf or branching.

You cannot treat an auto like a photoperiod strain - less is more when running these.
You can break the apical structure with LST and Topping ( some strains ) but they are plug and play plants .... nothing more. Any undue stress like - Defol / HST / Overwatering / Overfeeding / etc . only risks a chance of a crappy result.

Another 14 days, cut yah feed down as stated, N abundance by the looks

Question...I only have one closet and one space to hang and dry but the other plant isn’t done yet. Is there any other way I can dry my buds besides hanging them in a closet? Can I use a bucket or container? What can I do because my other plant is still growing...

Cardboard boxes work best i found, cut a hole at front of box and rear off box for airflow, set up strings to hang buds in box, close top, put a fan blowing towards all the boxes weed. NOT TOO CLOSE. Shut windows and only exchange air when needed to get rid of hot stagnant air.

Another 11 days or so, still stacking fresh tops
I’ve learned it’s not true that autos take 2 months or so to grow. That’s false. Maybe under certain condition but this critical jack will be going almost 14 weeks and my white widdow almost 16. What are your thoughts? Never go by what the package says always go a little longer. I cut too early on my last grow...

Go by what the plant tells you

Chop both in about a week
What do you guys think? Are they ready to chop? The critical has a lot of Amber trichomes and is enormous with almost all the leaves yellowing and dying. The white widow doesn’t have too many Amber trichomes and the leaves are green still...

And do all trichomes have to be amber or just some?
