Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Hey there, need some seriously help with my Afghani Kush Ryder (Auto) It's already been about a week since it sprouted, and it's only about cm tall, 3 sets of leaves though (true to it's afghan and ryder bushy genes) But still, from what I've read it should also bee a few inches tall and leaves longer than a cm.

It has most obviously been stunted, and isn't growing. It's in an aerogarden, with about 100 watt of cfl lighting 4 inches away from the baby or so.

External air pump connected to a 12" airstone in the res. The sprout is in wet but not soaking rockwool. humidity about 60% and temps 28 celsius or so, res temp is always cold water, making sure its cold in there at all times
Help me too please

With a lifespan of a mere 55 days from seed to harvest, it is not only possible to get an early harvest of high quality marijuana but multiple harvests per season. Growing Afghan Kush Ryder indoors recommends 20 hours of light daily throughout the cycle. She is happy to grow outdoors from as early as March with a harvest in May to return to a plant in June with a harvest in August. The increased height compared to earlier auto-flowering strains brings with it increased yield.

I'll get a fan up into that space and try bring temp to 25 from 28, dry out the rockwool and get some oxygen flow. If that doesn't work i'll order some ol' trusty aerogarden sponges and get some new seeds :S

A great new edition to this increasingly popular range, we’re sure the Self-Ballasted Lamps (CFL) will become just as popular. They’re ideal for:

- Over wintering plants
- Side lighting
- Mother Plants

The 125w CFL offer you a host of benefits to give you convenience and great results:
They provide your plants with lots of usable light for best growth and yield.
They give off very little heat, meaning you can place them close to your plants for maximum output. As the lamps are self-ballasted, you simply screw the CFL into your E40 reflector or hanger, giving you great convenience and flexibility - as well as cost savings.
Requires an E40 hanger or reflector - just plug in and grow!!!

The temp is down to 23, humidity is staying solid round 55%, i put an oscilating fan in there, so pulling and pushing new air.
I'm just crossing my fingers that she's focusing on roots before having a growth spurt

Hey all. Very nice shots of the girls has me looking into strains again for next year! Question: I have pretty much decided that Mi5 from Short Stuff is my next outdoor auto grow experiment.
Any input on size and yield would be greatly appreciated please!

Peace!

could definitely taste ak.... mine didn't go purp at all but it was indoor

Potency 8
Taste 7
Aroma 6
Density 7
Appearance 7
Yield 8

it was a creeper.. stalking up behind you then smashing you in the back of the head with a sledgehammer

it's a nice strain would definitely recommend, one thing to note there didn't seem to be much smell throughout the grow, some days would get slightly stinky but nothing overwhelming and again once drying and curing not much smell, it was there but not pungent.

i let it go 12 weeks in total, it started flowering after 2 so 10 weeks flowering, could probably have gone a bit longer, but again if you're outside probably be a bit quicker

Awesome dude. I will be getting them soon just to see how purple they can get. :weed: How was the smoke? Thanks for the input!

I just wanted to make sure not to over do the light or under do it..but considering 8 Diesel Ryders....I know its better to use certain light for initial growth and then different light for fruiting or flowering or whatever (sorry im a mushroom grower trying to learn a new passion, this is definitely a more detailed hobby lol)...but these autoflowering strains can do well under a lot of conditions right..I just want to know simply what is the best and simplest lighting setup for 8 autos...does it have to be cfl in the beginning, and HPS later, or is there a lighting combination of some sort that I could just run 20/4 and not have to change up bulbs when things start to flower...this is my first time trying indoor and my first time trying autos and its a lot different and never having had worked with lights I am a little overwhelmed, there are just so many choices out there...so basically I am asking with 8 autos what is the simplest and best light set up? and also what is the minimum required amount of space for 8 of these dudes...can to shelves of 4 be grown in a closet perhaps? Also I read planting in the starting pot is good, I will probably use 3 gallon pots from the beginning....thanks for the info..I have only got 50 pages or so into the thread but damn theres a shit ton of info in here guys
