Oh i am pissed. Ive never done an auto flower before, and i had some free dinafem seeds. Roadrunner auto, which failed to sprout, and auto haze which also failed to sprout. Ive sprouted many seeds before but these just dont seem to be working for me. I also have dinafem critical +, Is this an autoflowering variety? how should i best germinate this seed?

I through my seeds in a starter plug in some soil. Water them with water thats 6.5 ph and have about a 95% success rate. I also keep them in my main grow room out of direct light so they stay 75-80 degrees. Out of my last 10 auto seeds I am 10/10 germ and 10/10 fem. paid extra for the fem lol..later and good luck!

thanks for the info. Im glad i didnt try to grow that one yet. I got them the dinafems as freebies along with my vanilla kush and some other stuff. Its no loss to me that the autos didnt work out because the kush is doing very well.

Hello all, I am going to be starting my first grow here in a few days as I recently got my medical card. I am using CFL lighting but in 4.1 square feet of space I was able to get 36000 Lumens as well as keep the temp at 78-80 1 inch down from the lights. I know many people are swear off the use of CFL but its a good stepping stone for me at this point.
My cabinet is 4 feet high and as I said has 4.1 square feet. (30 inches by 20 inches)
I was hoping to do a SCROG and I also was hoping to get some suggestions on what strain would be best for my to use in such a area to maximize my yield.
On a side note I am not looking for a couchlock stone by any means, rather not smoke anything than have a 30 min debate with myself about getting up off my ass

I have had shitty ass luck with Dinafem seeds bro. And I have been doing this shit for 34+ years. I get old, pale and small seeds from Dinafem through Attitude. The auto hazes were a total waste of money and nothing short of a bummer. Sometimes these seedbanks send out seeds that are borderline quality. I have been messing around with local bagseed in Hawaii, and these fresh, fat, dark and juicy seeds explode out of their shell and dominate the garden vs. the expensive shriveled seeds I buy online.
I can't say anything about smoke quality, because I am far from harvest still, but some of the auto strains from these seedbanks are a rip off. And you can't really complain, because they are "souvenirs."

Iguess youre right. as i said im not too upset because i didn't pay for them. I'm just glad its not me and my germination methods. I am curious to try some auto flower though just to see how it works.

Skoad iv never done any severe lst with an auto such as growin it tied over like you do sometimes with a photo strain but i have trained them a little. I grow russian rocket fuel once in a while and 1 pheno gets very bushy. So what i did with twist ties was over 4 days i staked it out basically to spread the branches so none were deprived of light as much as possible and it did fine and at 30" it had a yield of 2 oz. Most people say lst n autos are bad but if not done to severely youll be fine. I put screws around the top of my pot to tie the twisties to.

Hey Skoad, here's one that i topped as an experiment along with some lst, worked out pretty good but i got way more bud off the one that was not topped like 1 oz more..
