I also sent a message to Nirvana concerning the auto Northern Lights. The same person (Charlie) advised me to be patient and they will flower on their own. Been vegging now over 2 months. I am going to let them go a bit longer though as I just germed a Rocklock that I want to veg 2/3 weeks then flower. I would have also asked for some compensation but I doubt they would since I got mine thru Attitude during their Quadtruple Thunder promo.

Brock as far as 18/6 or 20/4 I think the jury is still out on that one. Joint Doctor states they do best under 18/6 and suggests running that light regime the whole way through. But just like you I have read others state that 20/4 is best. My plan is just to figure out which works best on my own.

My short rider took 10 weeks to show they where male, I'll have to contact them and see if they will make it right!

Anybody put their easyryder seedlings under a 400 watt HPS. Heat is not a concern. I am just worried the light might be too bright.

I flowered an easyryder grow under 400w hps, I see no problem with that at all.

2 months of veg and they're telling you to be patient? Nirvana is pissing me off with their shoddy genetics. I switched mine to 12/12 and revamped my grow, I hope they actually flower!

I just picked up 10 Nirvana Auto Northern Lights from Attitude for a future grow.Thought about adding a few extra plants to my tent thinking they are going to grow small.But after hearing these stories of them growing big and not auto flowering.I'll have to rethink that grow.Thanx

Can't count how many people I've seen complaining in the forums lately about Nirvana's Autos not being true Autos. That's great that they seem to have good customer service at least (although only based off that one experience that I've seen), but it doesn't seem like the best place to shop for Autos based on the collective experiences. I haven't heard any complaints about Attitude's Autos yet... anybody have any problems with theirs?

Look forward to seeing how these grow, please keep a journal or post here occasionally with pics. A lot of us received these same freebies, so I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in following their progress. Unfortunately I don't really have the space to grow most of the freebies indoors, and it's too late in the year to grow them outdoors, so I don't see myself growing them anytime soon.

My grow journal is in my sig. I'm expecting to see them crack by Wednesday, I wish I could use my hps but there's no room in my flower tent. I'm just gonna grow them in my veg tent for fun and see how then turn out

I have done several auto grows with good sucess.... however, I have read that you cen boost them with Redbull!!!. Does anyone know when and how much redbull to use?

I would never pour that stuff on my plants, I doubt it would give them wings...

I'm curious what's the purposed explanation for red bull on cannabis???

How many autos can i fit underneath 1 1000watt hps light?? they will b in 5gal grow bags.. Can some1 help me with this.. Also how much will each plant yeild..

IMHO, if you can run 1000w hps you might as well run bigger plants with much better yields than auto's.

Id say atleast 9 in a 3x3 pattern in 5 gal bags under a 1000 would be good. If not maybe 12 or 16 depending on how wide the 5 gal grow bags are you could set them up in either the 3x3 square shape or 4x3 slightly rectangular shape or 4x4 square shape if they fit close enough to the light to get some good light from the hps but if too far away with more plants youd probably be better off going with less and id say a minimium 9 plants would fit well.

hey there cool thread bro!! got 5 autos on the go aswell as 8 big girls!!! anyway as its a auto thread ill just chat about the autos!! got 1 royal dwarf 1 sweet dwarf 1 top 69 2 low girl all suposed to be great automatic strains the royal is about 23 inches the rest are 10 days behind but all growing at around the same rate ! funny plants arnt they the way they fly along from seed by time you hit 30 days you got bud all over lol was amazed so i was bro and thView attachment 1117432ey actually smell pretty nice !! cant wait to sample the goods when all dry and a cure ! heres a couple a pics of them!!!View attachment 1117431 as ya can see 1 pic of them all then 1 of the royal automatic !!!! great thread by the way ! so how your autos coming along???? peace bro

5 gallons is probably a little overkill. You can use 3 gallon with no problems.

roznrub lols i used redbull near the end of my Greatwhiteshark and some to my easyryder
done no harm i tryed it for the taste it made my plants smellyer i couldent say the amount to give em
i say try it on one mix with spring water no fizz (i was trying something new)+lov redbull smell and taste xD
