Realised it is much more economical to run 600w 12/12 rather than 18/6 20/4 or 24/0 
12-12 from seed also means I can grow any strain I like and not limited to autos only.
Not knocking autos just makes more sense for my circumstances. If I had a dedicated veg room I'd probably still run some, but don't.

Hello to all autoflower growers! I started my first grow 3weeks ago & it is Nirvana Short Riders!! Im growing outdoors
Ive been studying lots and lots about cannabis cultivation indoors & outdoors & especially autoflowering strains due my inability to grow cannabis indoors (people living in the same house with me..) so i decided to grow outdoors! ive been reading this thread for like 2-3days now and im already at page 80/781 so couple weeks and ive probably read the whole thread!! ( Im that kind of a person who really likes to know everything about something that im doing, kind of a perfectionist
)
ANYWAY im hoping to get some good advice from knowledged & experienced autoflower growers !! best advice would come from someone who has grown autoflowers outdoors
or even the strain that im growing and tell me more about it!!

Hey, delvite....I feel ya on the absence of auto action.I have a thread going more or less to just keep track of when seeds were started, sexe and harvested.It doesn't go into detail on my exact system but I am going to cover a feminized seed run with instructions on how to make colloidal silver and use it at home.
I grow Purple Jem, MI5 , Onyx and several strains I have developed myself.I am currently working on a super auto with a seed to harvest of 95-115 days.
These plants are getting 4 ft tall and producing an average of 3.5 ozs each.I had one that had 7.5 ozs on one 4ft plant.My thread is in my signature at the bottom.Please drop in. Peace.

All 14 plants were harvested.In total, I ended up with a 1/4 pound of bud after completely drying.It is curing now.It will continue to get better with each day of curing but it is ok to smoke now.
So with a little planning my 1st real crop of the summer came in.I was smoking the Purple Jem as I watched the 4th of July fireworks last night.
Plants were harvest at 9 weeks old.They could of went another week if not for the Midwest heat wave.With the heat I decided to take them early.Average weight per plant was 8 grams.
8 were grown in the ground and the other 6 were in 4 gal. thin,black, plastic nursery buckets.The buckets had Promix Bx in them, which has the water absorbing gel in it.I used simple Water soluble nutrients 10-15-10.
As long as they get rain every 5-10 days they will grow.And in June it usually rains here 2 times a week.I just set them 20ft. off the side of a dirt road in some fresh clear cut.
I have twenty 10 day old seedlings thay will go outside around the 1st week of August and there are 4 P. Jem plants in the field right now that are 5-6 weeks old and will be harvested the end of this month.So I should be able to pull 3-4 more grows with this cycle before Holloween.
A pic or two of some of the top buds is below, enjoy.

Hi guys I have read some of this forum and there's alot of knowledge here. Can you guys give me some insight please, I'm starting my first grow, I'm thinking about going with auto seeds ultra lemon haze, I'm using a t5 4x8 , I'm using DWC 5 gallon buckets with 6" pods( I have 5 but am thinking about growing my legal limit of 12). My original intent was to use it for photoperiod mothers and teens but with some research Ive found the auto's and that they grow under t5. I have enough time for one harvest ( lease is up in 4 months, and I plan to go to photo once I move)
so with all of that being said, what strains should I grow, I'm still unsure on how many plants to grow or if the light can feed all of the plants. Do you guys know of better bulbs to put in to better there growth?

I have a question whats the longest autoflower grow im on 11 weeks and still blowing up with buds late flower trans siberian auto im not complaining got a couple ounces on it but im thinking i still got 3 or 4 more weeks on her could it be genetics

Im a little bit confuse, so, a feminized autoflower produce buds and seeds too?OK so my wife and I sat down and picked every last seed we could find out of each bud off my little pregnant Diesel Ryders. This required some not so gentle man handling of the buds, and 1.5 hours of neck straining labor but yielded an AMAZING amount of seeds. I got so many I just had to hand count them. Keep in mind that one plant was 5.75 inches tall and one was 6.75 inches tall. And lets just say that my previous estimate of 50-100 seeds is now, well....laughable
Total seed count: 472!!!!
I have a feeling I will never have to do another seed run again as long as the majority of the little guys germinate. This does not include the probably 200+ immature seeds that were discarded, but only nice, round, brown beans. It was a lot of work getting them all out, but WELL worth the efforts.
After removing all seeds i weighed each plant's buds again and Carmen came in at 9g, Regina was 9.7g. I am more than pleased considering I had just bought a bag of some old, NASTY commercial junk, and now we have just under 3/4oz of some GREAT homegrown bud!!
- Two plants both under 7" tall
- 42w & 26w 2700K CFLs from seed to harvest
- Less than 5 total feedings, no bloom nutes
- 62 days total from seed to harvest
- 6 days to dry before canning
- 18.7g total bud after removing seeds
- 472 total seeds collected
My new diesel ryder girls should be much taller, fatter, and not to mention SEEDLESS!!! The smoke is so great, and will get better the longer I keep the bud in their jars. I plan to burp the jars every day for at least a week or 2, then they should be good to just cure away!! Ill make sure and report on the new Diesel Ryders from time to time, and especially when harvest time rolls around, which is in about 4 weeks

PS: Nothing against anyone here, but I would never sell or give away any of these seeds to someone I do not know personally, so please no messages asking. If it were legal I would be all about sharing but I cant take that risk, so sorry

I bought some ak 47 xtrm fem autos from AMS. Has anyone tried this strain? Cant find any real info on this strain. They will be my third grow.

Hey Guys, sorry for bringing up a dead post but I can't seem to wrap my head around some information. I am wanting to start my first grow using some LowRyder seeds, I've been planning an indoor grow and in the midst of building a box that will be 40in x 33in x 35in. I am wondering if this may be too big as I've been reading that most plants will reach about 2 ft tall. Is that including the pot? or are we talking about the plant it self? I plan on using 1.5 gal pots, would 40 inches be too tall for the box? Would I be better off making it 40in wide 33in deep and 35 inch high to maximize my space and yield potential?

add the height of the pot and 2' for the plant and how far down into the box your light will hang and then you will know.

Hi, I sprayed an auti/fem with silver water for 3 weeks, there are no more pistils, I see a lot of sacks but those seem to be the pouches that the pistils were shooting out of. All these pouches are empty, no pollen. Can anyone please show me what the pouches carrying pollen will look like.
It's my first attempt at making fem seeds, I put a lot of work turning that plant around, it has been 2.5 weeks that she is bare of all pistils.
A cry for help.
