Yes w.o.s. its afghan kush ryder actually..started flowering after 3 weeks I was amazed and relieved at the same time. Now all all the nods and pretty much all the secondary branches flowers have pistils on them. I'm just waiting for the budding start not sure when to expect that yet. Once that happens it will be another waive of relief. Wish I had a better the light tho. They are at about 2ft now.

So I have been looking up info for weeks on these AF strains. Im trying to figure out a lighting Question. The goal was to just do the lights in CFL's only. There would be 8 bulbs per 2 sq foot. The bulbs to be used would be

4 Soft white 100w CFL Bulbs at 2700k
4 Daylight 100w CFl bulbs at 6500k

These bulbs would be used threw the whole process.

My question is does ANYBODY think this is not enough light. The count for lumens should be ok. But if I were sure this I would not be asking. And the Light cycle that was planned was 20/4 . Any response on these questions would help alot.

Another question I had was about the wetness of the soil. I was in the understanding that the soil should be wet or on the more wet side. But every pictures I look at the soil looks dry or almost dry. I'm also wondering if the wetness of the soil will affect my male to female ratio. And the last question for now would be if I should water with nutrient at low doses on every watering or skip to every other watering with the nutrients

When you go to put your seed in soil it should be wet enough to slightly hold together if you were to make a ball so to say .. I cover my planter with plastic wrap till seeds sprout ,, i soak my seeds 24 -36 hrs in water before planting .

benzfrd,

bro, just go for a 400 watt set up... my homie has 3 russian rocket fuels under one 400 watt mh and they look awsome...homie has a top's the size of water bottle and they are solid. its the pics i attached i took those with my phone however the pic's dont do them justice...

my other homie uses a 400 watt HPS and he gets tops like beer cans on his autos, about 3 oz's per plant..

its worth it in the end, trust me...

what strain are you gonna grow? if they are small you could get 4 under one 400 watt and still do good..p_00307.jpg
this pic was 6 weeks...

Hey thanks alot Surhhead for the info. Its all appreciated and welcome. Thanks again. So the thoughts was to do 5 fast bud auto and 5 white russiun auto. Does anyone have any tips learned threw experience that they can give melt lessons learned. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the understanding that they should both be easy to mataun and grow as long as
I'm not to heavy on the nutrients and don't let it get to dry. Again any help would be awesome. Thank you ahead of time

ok i need some feed back from growers who have experience growing autoflowers and photoperiod strains..

i got some seeds from attitude, nirvana bubblelicious feminized, they have been in fox farms ocean forest soil now for 6 weeks, at three weeks i started 1/4 strength GH nutes..im now up to full recommended dosage in hopes that it would force it to flower, but nothing...im beginning to think i got photoperiod seeds in error...

okay heres the million dollar question...

if they are true autosflower's and they dont flower in the 8 weeks, does the plant just die without ever producing any buds? in other words a dud??

or...

do i just treat them like regular photperiods and vegg for 2 more weeks at 18/6 then pop em in a 12/12 cycle??

or...

do i just pull them...and get some tru autoflowers.

I am growing the same ones....If they are 6 weeks and showing not sign of flowering then switch them to 12/12 and leave them there for the rest of the grow...I find that switching them back to 18/6 reverts them back in to veg as they are not a true auto. Not an error, just seems that Nirvana is having problems with their autos...

No worries though, it is going to be some good shit either way!!!

Here is my Bubblelicious that has been on 12/12...

here are my autoberries at 66 days. 400 watt hps, flood and drain, 4x2 grow tent. light was 20/4 but has been gradually reduced to around 14/10 now.autoberry 003.jpgautoberry 001.jpgThe small ones were user-error. Started them in DWC, had a bunch of algae, tried using hydrogen peroxide but burnt up my roots. The poor girls needed to use up their energy producing a second root system...
