Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Having my autos outside is starting to worry me because ever time I hear a plane or helicopter fly over I am thinking they are hunting for plants. Doesn't work out too well for me either since I am only about 10 miles from the local county airport. Has me even more bugged too cause I still have them in their pots and I know my fingerprints are all over them and the fuzz already has mine on file because I was an idiot a few years back. I initially moved them outside because of the smell but I will have money soon for a tent and carbon filter so they will be coming back inside. I am thinking of picking up some ONA gel as well first since I won't have all the cash together for the tent and carbon filter for at least another 3 weeks.

This is my first grow and I am really concerned not so much about their smell during flowering but when I am drying as I heard it gets pretty bad which is the main reason I want to get the tent and carbon filter for them. I feel with a tent too I will be better able to control temps and humidity.

Just 3 of them, since it was my first grow if I messed up I didn't want to ruin all 5 that I had got. Yeah I know that they would be near impossible to spot and they are around brush. Hell I can barely see them if I am walking by and I put em' there! If my prints weren't all over the pots I would just let them be but they are and I am not able to transplant them this late in. Someone had suggested wiping the pots down with WD-40 and a rag but I'm not 100% if that would work. If I knew there was no way for them to track it back to me cause of the prints I would leave them out there and start another batch inside. Anyone ever heard of wiping the pots down with WD-40 or anything for that matter that would eliminate them?

The girls are all Nirvanas new Northern Lights auto and sprouted from the soil around June 13th and a bit after the 4th of July had showed sex. Nirvana says 5-7 flowering weeks so I am looking to harvest around mid-August to early September. As long as everything works out I plan on posting everything I found out about them since nobody that I have seen has grown them out completely just yet. I am thinking of going with 60 day wonder next then after that moving on to some non-autos that I got free with my order.

where did you get your bags from and were they a decent price? Im looking to purchase some and so far ive found some on eba=y but just wondering what you guys have found them for??? Also is making hash from the bags the easiest way or not extremly difficult? I will be harvesting my 1st grow and am looking forward to using the trim to get some hash!

Ebay, I bought an eight bag set, for about $45. Works great. Not as much of a quality product compared to the more expensive ones. But they do the job well. Its very easy, you need ice, water, and an electric hand mixer. A good amount of shake (trim leaves, stuff from the bottom of bags, lower buds from plants ), and time. Takes about and hour or so. Depending on how much your making. It could take more or less time.

Yes, it works well. The more coated the material the more kief you will get, but thats a no brainer.

wow this shit is getting really old can we stop PLEASE? this thread is a 105 fucking pages long and thats with 40 post a page if it was gonna die it would. I for one found it VERY interesting that someong got that much hash of 10 AUTOS. reason being i have 8 autos going and just never saw that few of a amound of plants making a nuf hash to worry about fucking with. then again ive only "tried" to make hash once but that NOT the POINT. the point is if someone every few hundred post out of 4200 wants to post about somethign other than an auto WHO CARES i know i dont want to read for 3 days why the fuck you should or shouldnt post here JESUS u two smoke a joint member we are all here just to share knowledge this isnt a grow journal its just an auto thread i for one say if you do something with ur autos and want to post about it go head if i dont want to read bout it ill be able to figure out formyself and go on to the next post but just cuz i dont want to read it dont mean everyone doesnt this isnt MY thread so who the fuck am i to tell people what to post here

hey dude. how are your Nirvana N.Ls going? Do you think they are true autos? Mine popped on June 7th and are jjust now starting to flower. I put them in 12/12 a few days ago but cant really tell wether it was the inducing 12/12 or it was just their time to flower??? Either way they are healthy looking gurls and bushy and all around 26-32inches tall!

Mine popped about May 25 and starting showing sex at about a month old. They dont even seem close to finishing. Thiers white hairs everywhere, but they aren't putting any wieght on. First real grow so don't what I am doing. I was hoping they would be done for Comedy Central Roast of the Hoff!

My NL stop growing at about 40 inches a week ago and hasn't really done much since except some yellowing fans leaves.

WD40 will work just fine mate!! I'm thinking of trying 60DW myself cos I want to try and get 2 grows in before Christmas. I'll be starting my next grow in about 3 weeks, got some regular cheese finishing ATM

Alright everyone got my NL autos back inside and finally got to take a good look at em. Even with the WD-40 I know my mind would still be worried. Out of the 3 my tallest is at 30 inches with the other two at 26 and 25. Some of my bottom leaves have started to yellow. I am just starting to see little white hairs on them now. Looks like some bugs got to them a bit, caterpillars I think as when I brought them back inside they had green translucent bugs on some of the leaves with little bits taken out here & there.

With how tall they got I am going to need to go out and get some CFLs to help out my T5. For the future now I will know I can only grow short riders of some kind or just use the T5 for veg unless I plan to do some LST because the bottom leaves won't be getting as much light. I am very happy with how much I have been learning on my first grow.

Gonzo I am not sure if they are true autos or not and don't want to comment because of my lack of experience. I can tell you that when I had them inside they were on 18/6 and after being outside for about 2 weeks have started to show me the little white hairs. My plan for right now is to put them back on the 18/6 and see if they continue to flower. If not I will revert them to 12/12. Any thoughts on if that light change could cause them some stress? Also should I trim off those fan leaves that are yellowing at the bottom??

AFs are not based on photoperiod! if you give them 12/12 you are depriving them. if anything put them under 24/7. and yes light changes will cause stress.

autos literally have no veg phase, like all marijuana plants even in flowering they grow in height just before they start putting on bud weight. if you LST as they are getting taller you should get brilliant results
