thanks Boss, i am going to get some "Dont Bug Me" from the store tomorrow ans spray my girls just to be safe, but what could i do for the caterpillars? they are everywhere right now.
OK, if you are "seeing" the catapillars, put one in a baggie, take to a "Garden Center", & show it to one of their "experts", and hopefully come home with the "right" stuff to eliminate the little devils. BUT, did you REALLY LOOK underneath the leaves? IF you see little black specks, then good possibility of spider mites. And that is VERY bad! For the sake of you grow, let us KNOW!
Good luck & good grow.......BB

OK, I'm on my own for the Nirvana's, what the hell, I'll "pioneer" the damn things, LOL.( and report back of course).
My question now is about Dinafem's "Roadrunner". I have one going since 3/30, and it's about 5" tall and flowering! The projected production looks like "squat"! I'm thinking that theres NOT enough sun time to get good growth in MY setup. If anyone is familar with this strain, please let me know whats up here, & Good luck & good grow.......BBbongsmilie

hey dude i haven't grown the strain but i know about it. usually gets around 1.5 to 2 ft tall with lots of side branching. yours is looking you may have gotten a "runt" seed. i has a lowryder do that on me. roadrunner is supposed to produce anywhere from a half to a oz per plant. sorry dude. at least it will be some homegrown to smoke.

peace

Thanks Crazy, I'll just avoid the Roadruuner from here on. I also have a Taiga, and a Quicksilver working and looking great, 10/12 inches and no flower sign yet. And fortunately, I have several lbs. from last years grow still set away for personal stash, (6 flavors, lol).
But this year, I'm looking at 13 & possibly 16 "new" strains/flavors, IF the Cannabis Gods smile on me: Chocolope, Red Dragon, Blue Venom, G 13 Haze, Rock Lock, Pineapple Express, LA Woman, Sharksbreath, Bubba Kush, 2 different Thai S.S. X's, (1 Diesel & 1 S.S.) from last years grow, + I am going to try to start 3 autoflower Nirvana's, Jock Horror, Bubblelicious, & Northern Lights, LATE into the season if my first autoflowers finish in time. (Major outdoor space problem!). Wishing you, Good luck & good grow.......BB

Good Luck nickyp. Jus germd 10 short riders, so far 8 are up in 3 days. Ill add pics this weekend so they will have time to grow a little.

I planted all of them in 5 gallon buckets with pro-soil mix and my garden soil. No nutes yet, will wait 20 days or so before I feed 'em

with nutes should be showing me sex by then.

Hey all, I just subscribed to this thread, and even though this is my first post here, it's already been worth it. I have never grown autos before, so I'm a little lost. My man and I are "DoinIt2Gether" cuz I have the knowledge and he's got the caregiver's card:lol:. Only, I don't have any knowledge on this one.
Q: I ordered some beans for a friend and he gave me a few of the freebies that came with the order. I picked the ones I wanted; I got the ones with the little black striations instead of the small pale ones...Do you think that was a good choice?
Q2: Do you germ autos the same way as other plants, and is there any way they got too hot sitting on top of my water heater?
Q3: The beans I got were Short Stuff's Auto Assassin. I have read almost all of the 290 pages, and not once have I seen that strain mentioned. I think it's a fairly new one from Jim at dopeseeds.com. Can someone, anyone, tell me anything about this strain? I will be germing them as soon as I get a response to this post and want to thank ya'll in advance for the help. Happy smokingbongsmilie
Can someone please help a girl out?

Also, would it hurt my beans if I just dropped em in the dirt? Would it be better to put them in rockwool? Which direction do they go? I have to keep the soil moist, right?

Q1: Steer clear of those pale pale or white seed. kind bud seeds can be a little smaller than what we see in mex regs so I wouldnt judge size of seeds.

Q2: I have germed all my auto's and reg plants in the same way. They are just like any MJ plant they just don't rely on a light cycle to flower. Or will flower under any light cycle.

Q3: Short Stuff's Auto Assassin : I have no idea about this strain. But I Love Auto's, I dont think you will be upset about your choice.

Q4: I dropped mine strait into soaked jiffy pellets, and I always drop my seeds point down,
lil flat side up.

Good Luck. Hope this helps even if just a little.

Hi. I'm 3 weeks into growing a few autos. There's a mixture of ak47, White Russian and blueberry. A few days ago I noticed the end of the new leaves were pointing down. I've tried to read up as much as poss. But I'm a little confused as to if this is caused by heat stress or something else? I have read about something called the claw? My temps stay in the high 70,s to low 80's

This is my first grow so any help will be great. I just thought I would ask here before things get any worse.

Here's a pic taken last night

Thanks for your response. It does help, it's great to get other growers advice to compare with my own opinions. Is there any way you would be willing to take a look at the last page and check out my questions there too? Thanks again for the help
Never mind, I just read it a little more thoroughly, and u did answer my questions on the other page...guess I need to smoke another one. LOL:joint:

Your plant looks very healthy. I would say that issue is either heat or nutes. looks more like too much nutrients, but I could be wrong. I say that because its just the very tips pointing down and starting to turn yellow. May I ask a few questions? What size pot do you have those in and what strain is that one in the picture?

Ok the plant in the pic is either a ak47 or the White Russian. I'm not sure excatly which one. The pot size is 5 ltr. I have been feeding them on 2 mls of bio grow for the last week every other day. But a few days ago I gave them an extra 2 mls of bio bloom. This actually made the problem a little worse so maybe it is the nutes? And I'm using a 600wt hps. It's around 2 ft away. I used the hand under the light system and raised until I could feel cool air.

When do u think I should try the bio bloom again?

It just seems to be the new shoots that are affected though. The bottom of the plant is still looking fine.

And it just seems to be the ak and the White Russian that's affected as the blueberry is still looking great.

Thanks for ur help guys.

Just use water for now, and see if the issue clears up, then use a weaker dose of the bio bloom, always start lightly and work your way up to a heavy feed.

anyone get seeds from automatikseeds.com? I was wondering if they were a legit company. I was thinking maybe getting a few different autos to add to my little seed bank. I usually use attitude but they dont have nearly the selection of autos that automatikseeds does.
