Auto Top-Off in a DWC? Need ideas

I'm using a 5 gallon bucket for a DWC grow and the water goes down close to 2" a day, and when I go into flowering it'll be even more. I do a water change once a week and top off with pH'ed water as needed to keep a consistent water level, similar to how I have my salt water aquarium. I have a auto top-off in my fish tank to keep the water the same level so the salinity does not rise. I'd love to incorporate this into my 5 gallon DWC somehow, but I think a regular gravity auto top-off would never fit in a 5 gallon DWC with all the roots and the basket on the lid. Any ideas of how to set one up in a 5 gallon? Thanks for any input!

i do an auto feed system. you'd need a res, a pump and timer and some tubing. you'll need a floor drain nearby just in case.
