Auto sweet tooth barneys farm, 250w hps

hi folks 1st time posting on here so forgive any errors, here's the details

4x barneys farm auto sweettooth from attitude
125 cfl blue spectrum for seedling
250w hps dual spectrum
60x60x140cm secret jardin grow tent
125mm exhaust fan
125mm carbon filter
passive intake
6inch clip on fan
4 x 6l square pots

planted straight in to the 6l pots and within 4 days all had sprouted under the 125 cfl with just a little stretch too much heat or light to far away, who knows! i didn't have the exhaust fan on didn't think i'd need it. but after a couple of weeks they were short and wide and at about 3 weeks i switched to the 250w hps and turned the fan on temps have been consistantly between 26-20 daytime and lowest of 14 night time with an 18/6 light schedule and only been fed on water at that point.

in week 4 i gave them a quarter dose of canna veg a and b, then by the end of week 4 begining of week 5 they were all showing sex, On week 6, so the 1st week of flowering i started a quarter strength canna pk 13/14 and have now just started the second week of flowering.

all comments are welcome hoping to gain some knowledge
sorry about the quality of the pics i'll get some more up when the lights are off

Not bad at all for your first grow! They look nice and healthy and bright green. Right where they should be at 3 wks.

Thanks 1st reply ever mate, glad you think there where they should be. Fingers crossed they'll thicken up.
you should look into nutes like Top-Max or Overdrive, they cause rapid cell division during flowering.. sometimes pk 13/14 isnt enough but with a bloom booster you will see you plants double in size.. alot of people recommend Black Strap Molasses too to add bulk to your crop but in my experience in soil the molasses made the soil go hard like cement, cant hurt to try though, sweet tooth is a great strain man good luck!!

Cheers for the advice I have canna boost didn't realise I was meant to use it together with the pk13/14 but just read up thanks to you lol and I do now so will start that on the next feed. I'm also using foxfarm tiger bloom on 3 of them just as a comparison, get some more pics up at the start of next week.

its up to you but i would advise giving it atleast a week over what the breeder calls for it really starts to dense up if you just let it go when the fans start to die let it go for a bit and you and your couch will become one o_O look really good bro youll be amazed at how fast that strain puts on weight

Thanks For the advice I'll definitely try it for a comparison :) , had a bit of nute burn on the foxfarm ones but I'm not worried there still looking good get some pics up tomorrow

New pics  So they got a bit burnt with the foxfarm i used, so I have flushed and they seem to be doing well. they've definitley put on a bit of weight, the tallest one is only on canna, no fox farm.

Thats the ladies at the end of week 4 or start of week 5 any advice or comments are always welcome !?

looks great this is a beautiful strain almost a set it and forget it i noticed they like a bit of N cal/mag never hurts in my opinion auto's never come out of veg they veg for a bit then bloom but are still half ass veggin i dunno im no expert ive had results from many diff ways im one of the guys that adds old coffee grounds to the top after a month or so and then realize im on a 70% coco and just go with it i think its called weed cause it grows like one just a thought

thanks for the input, mine took about 5 weeks to start flowering properly on 18/6 and since then it's been all good news

It's a very easy strain to grow so far, plain water for almost the 1st 6 weeks and I'm using biobizz light mix in 6l square pots.my temps are still between 20 to 27 but usually between 22 to 25, very low humidity dont know if that'll be an issue. anyone?

Ok so think I've had a severe cal/mag def, thought it was black spot but have trimmed off any dead or mottled leaves and gave a good feed, not good, but only just over 3 weeks to harvest, I'll get some more pics up in a few days, I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed

cal mag is easy to spot lol that was a pun if your familiar with it .. any spots most have a "rust" color is more then likely a cal/mag. i have 5 of these put back i love this strain. amnesia is amazing if you never tried it but needs alot of lst if your limited on height ive had a few clear 4 ft and had others that with a little lst were 3 ft wide atleast .its another that if you let it go longer you get the couch lock and racy mind :) thats what i like i really like the fact of the higher cbd thinkin about tryin some of the cbd seeds i think thats what the breeder is. low thc higher cbd for the pain killer with out the stone

the post about the temp just saw it just slows growth if it could be a bit higher would help itll just take a bit longer it also adds some pretty colors

lol yeah there's a bit of purple and blue showing up in places but i'll try raise the temps a lil bit,

The brown rust spots seem to be spreading so hopefully getting some cal/mag later today had to trim alot of leaf off but it's opened up the plants to the light a little more. So again with a little luck and patience all will be well.

ok so heres some new pics on what i think is the start of week 6 flowering for them so they have about 3 weeks left.

I'm a bit worried about the brown spots there not going away and are just drying up leaves, I couldn't get any cal/mag but tried epsom salts so maybe they'll perk up.

anyways here's some new pics and one is an example of the rust spot leaves any advice would be great 220113 003.jpg220113 004.jpg220113 006.jpg220113 007.jpg220113 008.jpg

when you tried the epsom salts how much did you use? Also I think it looks like a potassium deficiency with the brown dots.
