Ordered 50 Short Stuff #1 seeds from dope-seeds and got them in 8 Business days.
Came with 5x Blue Himalayan and 2x fem Auto Assassin? all short stuff seeds. Germ rate was good all but a few didn't germ and it looks like all but maby 3 are sprouting so im happy. Lost a few due to armature error. Im looking at 40 sprouts some gimpy out of 57 and waiting on a few.
They are in light warrior right now and will be moving them to 5 7gallon buckets of LW/OF mix soil.
I decided to start indoors because
rainstorms here can and will destroy anything in its path. But i dont have the indoor lights to keep them for long. only 2 42w cfl. Im guessing i need to move these baby's outside asap? When should i move them outside? They look like there starting to stretch already some of them are just sprouting.

Im going to keep everyone updated with pics! Wish me luck! I can use some advise :bigjoint: Thanks!

So 4 plants per 7gl bucket? Is this so you can rescue them ladies quickly? You dont have that long with autos so i would move them out asap to max growth. And with them in only 5 buckets (if that is what you meant) it will be easy to move them back indoors just incase. Good luck, 1st post, ha

I don't mind the multiple plant per bucket idea there just auto flowers they'll neverbe in there long enough to get rootbound

Seems like a good soil mix ilike light warrior and ocean forest
Are you gonna be adding worm castings or perlite?

Id transplant asap auto flowers only grow a 2-3 weeks then the rest is a spent makin nice buds

I've heard good things about short stuff my main reason for peakin in here

Are you gonna put up and mesh or fencing to keep birds and animals of tyem babys?
I had problem with pigeons eatings my plants and knockin over an what not last year made me wish a had

What are you doing for nutrients?

I'm scrbd have any questions just ask this has potential to be an amazing grow

thats about 8 or 9 plants per bucket 40-45 plants * 5 buckets but i guess I could do a few more buckets maby 8 5 gallon buckets. From what ive read they dont need much nutes because there in good soil and only grow for 65days and they are a small auto strain. The location is rather remote so i will not be visiting too often. If any i will be using some fox farms big bloom. Im just worried to sun is going to shock them if i move them now because they have little or no roots.

A little big bloom will fatten up nicely coming through the tail end
8 buckets sound goood
And I wouldn't be wrried about the sun shocking them they were meant for the sun;-)

Are they fem seeds???

This should be a great grow I'm looking forward to the results

Sorry for the long delay, they weren't really doing much of anything until now. I checked on them about 6-7 days ago and they were all quite small.none taller then a foot and only one male showing sex. The soil was very dry but they looked quite healthy. I watered them and moved them for more sunlight and bam they exploded. I just checked on, and watered them and found 11 males. the biggest pictured is about 2 feet the smallest male about 3 inches lol. I couldn't get any good pics of females but they are all very healthy looking and very dark green. One of the pots is infested with termites. It happens to be a pot with 4 females in it :( but they seem to be doing fine. I think this is all the males, maby one more coming... That seems like a great ratio to me :) but I question how much bud im going to get from the ones less then a ft tall that just started flowering... With the males up to 5 days old and the females about 4 days old is that enough time for them to get pollinated giver or take about 3 days? I wasn't the gentlest removing them either. Im quite happy about the health of the plants! I couldn't really picture them looking better.

Soil was 1 part Ocean Forest, 1 part Light Warrior, 2 parts nursery soil. Im happy with the results but it docent seem to drain all that evenly. How much water should i use in a 5 gallon pot. Right now im watering about less then a gallon 1 time a week...lol but its been raining maby 1 time ever other week or so. Oh and 5 plants to a 5 gallon bucket works like heaven especially after sexing. For auto flowering anyhow.

Anyway what should i do now :)

They were already showing stamens or were they just in pre-flower?

I've noticed you have about a 10 day grace period from first noticing the pre-flowers to when they start releasing pollen.

However, if they were already "clearly" males, then yeah, you're probably preggo.

Edit: Not sure how the 10 day rule applies to ruderalis strains.

Check the last post on page one.

They were clearly males as shown in the picture.
I just read that the it takes up to 2 weeks for the females to be able to be pollinated. I hope this is correct.

Maybe it's just me, but there are clearly no pictures showing in your last post on page 1.

You shouldn't have started your seeds in that mix you put them in...seedlings should not be given any nutrients until the 1st set of true leaves appear. little to late for that i know, but just so u now know.

Pictures are up in my last post!

I haven't given them any nutes still.

And this is page 2 for me? that's weird.

I fixed the pics only shots of the males i brought home. If i could get 3oz from this grow i would be happy ish. If i could get 10oz i would be riding a unicorn to the moon. I really don't know what to expect and fear the worst from them termites and god(if der was one) only knows what else. From what ive herd 14g is avg for Short Stuff #1 with some small guys and a few 25gramers. Because of the cloudy weather they had during much of early veg and lack of water i think it inhibited the growth a bit.

Ah, there they are. I don't see any "open" sacs - which would thereby release pollen, but I would expect that some of your females have been pollinated. Either way, don't sweat it. At the end of the day you'll end up with plenty of good bud - and maybe a few seeds to boot.

I'm looking at page 2 here as well.

I checked my baby's today and found about 4-5 of the smaller guys with sideways cuts in them as if someone was making clones so i was like wtf? Then i saw that they were left in the pots. I don't know if an animal did this or someone is messing with me but it was weird. They were fairly clean sideways cuts. Idiots trying to make clones of flowering autos... Im going to buy some fox farms nuts tomorrow. They are getting bigger by the day. Almost all of them are over a foot now im pritty excited. I need to figure out how to keep the rest from getting chomped on by birds or whatever that was and fast.
