Hi I'm looking for advice/opinions from experienced growers, this is week 1 for my seedlings they sprouted Sunday 1.29.17 and some of them seem to have slightly different color hues on their leaves. Does this look like a deficieny of some sort or just natural and seedlings healthy ? soil pH is 7, been watering with distilled but swapping over to tap water ph'd for 6 to lower my soil ph to between 6.3-6.5. Thank you for anyone willing to take their time to help me raise healthy plants

They look fine. What kind of soil is it? I use FFOF and don't use any nutrients for 3-4 weeks. I ph water to 6.5. you don't want to drastically lower soil ph.

I just finished 4 NL autos and started 3 more

It''s FFOF cut with 15% perlite & 10% vermiculite. If I ph my water to 6.5 will it gradually make soil PH 6.5 ?

I would water at 6.5-6.8 and let it do its thing. What are you testing the soil ph with anyways? Definetly hold off on nutrients. Autos are sensitive and FFOF is loaded

Here's a photo of a nice nug I got off the drying line

One of those soil spike pH meters, also a moisture meter but I use my finger 2 inch into soil for that.

Ignore your soil ph, you have great soil so you have nothing to worry about. Just pay attention to what you give it. Do not use your soil ph meter to ph your water, it will not be remotely accurate. For watering, force yourself to learn it needs water by looking at the soil. You can feel how thirsty it is by lifting it slightly, obviously the lighter it is the drier it is. You have plenty of room for error with soil, so dont worry if you lag a day on watering or overdo it on a couple. Not sure of your pot size, but I have one in a 3g bag with that soil on day 41 flower and I water every other day. When it was younger I watered every 3 days

I have a water ph meter too and TDS/PPM meter for water. I was gonna start with some root enhancer nutes by week 3
