I just finished my first auto grow, and the trichs never turned amber. Grew it out to eleven weeks waiting for some color, then the pistils all vanished so I cut it. It's a Red Dwarf.
Yes it would, but cutting the whole plant is quite stressfull too lol. We are just talking about harvesting what's ready and leaving the lower half to ripen up a bit more.

No, it's just not uncommon for some strains of autos not to change to amber. That's just what I've read on here and other cannabis forums. I've only grown 1 strain of auto and never got it past 73 days. There were no amber trichs and the smoke was good. If you've got amber then that's great, just another sign that she is done or close. Looking at the pic from last thursday it doesn't look like she has a lot of life left in her and you've made it another week. The one strain that I have grown seemed to stop drinking water at the end.
Yes. I grew some of the Buddha auto mix pack. I grew them under a new 8 bulb 4ft t5. I used the 6500k bulbs all the way through. They did fine. Frosty as hell. It works.
so it does work ok then ?cool .I know I can get a 4 pack of 2700k bulbs to replace the 6500k bulbs but ill give what I have a go first then.i guess if it works ok I could always change the bulbs to 2700k half way though if I think the density of buds need help ..cheers for the reply man

At the end I water every day. They get big and roots take up space and they drink more water.
Actually I prefer to run a mix of bulbs. In your case, 50/50 mix of 6500k and 2700k. They do better with a mix. Look up @RM3 he is a member here and got some good journals on t5 grows.
