Auto flower help

Yes I’m growing in soil so it can be thanks to the light as I’m using really crappy lights. First these Amazon “40w” lights and a AliExpress 5v light strip for extra reach. I’m planning on moving the plant to the balcony as soon as it gets a little warmer.

Yeah I think you will do fine with some outdoor light. Just start putting it out in the day when its warmer and bring it indoors while its still abit cold, cus its auto you should be fine. Now its showing signs of flowering by putting those pistols out try your best to get as much light as you can on them as your at a crucial stage. Really with autos you want to give them max light and max root space straight away. I sometimes used to grow in small pots due to space, but I used to have small hempy type pots. Id have a sort of double pot, one in the other. The one sitting inside would have lots of holes in the bottom and the outside one none. Id have the iner pot sitting so I could have a third of the outer pot with water, so the roots would grow out of a coco soil mix in the iner pot and out through the bottom, ther would be a small air gap and then into the water in the outer pot. Its kind of hydro but simple and you can keep the pots small but grow big plants. Keep us updated with how you get on please. Will be cool to see.

thanks a lot mate. We’re about to have a pretty decent week sunny days with temps at 18-19 celsius during the days. Do you think I can have them outside during the day or is it still too cold? And that pot method sounds pretty clever I think I’m going to try something like that with my next grow. Also I will definitely keep you guys updated if interested

I think 18 pluss is fine. Just try to get it were it can get the most hours of direct sun you can manage.

That yellowing is probably from moisture stress.

As the plant fills out the container the roots become more susceptible to moisture stress. So you can keep feeding it but if it’s drying out to much before watering the plant consumes the lowest leaves.
You were right. Since I raised the humidity the yellowing stopped and the plant seems to be doing fine again. Thanks for the help

Quick update:

yellowing came back and got worse when I increased the nutrients as per the schedule. Lost another 2 sets of leaves and now the third ones are being eaten. Plant only has like 3-4 weeks left until harvest so I hope it’s no big deal, but I’m still curious as to why this is happening and if it’s stunting the plant.
