How do you get a auto to grow that big? Biggest I have seen is around 3-4 feet! How does it smell?

I'd have to check to be 100% sure but I believe that was taken at day 61. This was actually my first grow I had ever done. I went DWC (simple 5 gallon bucket setup) and used a 600w HPS and some LED UFO's to round things out. Being my first time I certainly wasn't expecting this kind of growth! The grow was fairly straight forward for the first month, after that the plant would cycle through a bucket of nutrients every 3 days or so. I topped off with straight water until I had used a complete bucket of replacement water, then nutes were changed out. I used General Hydroponics FloraDuo system along with the additives. Stuck to the instructions and never ran into a single nutrient burn or deficiency.

As for my yield, that was one of two plants. I don't keep scales around but I'd guess an easy 8-9 ounces minimum. The taste was very fruity and the high was ok I guess. I think I was expecting something more potent but I'm SURE the lack of quality was due to my issues I had being my first grow.... wild ph flucuations.. temps.. etc.. My last grow of regular photo plants let me know I can do it right! I'm going to try those berry ryders again just because I enjoyed that flavor.
