hey everyone,
i have just soaked 5 auto AK seeds overnight, they cracked and the i
planted them into small pots (>1/2 liter) filled with a 50/50 mix of seed raising soil mix and perlite.
now,
reading the card that came with the seeds it says for best results plant
directly into 5 Liter pots and have read others saying that automatic strains
will send a taproot down first so you must re-pot into larger pots very soon
from sprouting (~week)
i was planning on using a soil mix of;
60% pro mix potting soil (added nutes and water crystals)
30% perlite
10% peat
my question is will the nutes in the potting mix stunt/burn/harm the plants
if i re-pot them into this mixture after a week or less?
anyone have a good soil mix for automatic strains??? (organic etc)
these plants will be started indoors under fluros/cfl and moved outdoors
after about 2 1/2 weeks to finish off (summer in southern hemisphere)
