Anny strains that really stand out for Australian conditions? And a reliable on line source for Australia. Cheers!

@Joomby - I'm an Aussie living in S. Oregon. Our summers here are much like parts of home, with dry scorching hot days and cool nights. Seeing what's produced here, outdoor growing in Australia, in a post-prohibition world, is going to be off the charts. Where are you in Oz? What's your climate like?

I'm in central Queensland humid summers dry winters. We would be pumping out some quality Bud. One can only hope

Heh. Not to thread jack. But, I'm also looking for such a thing. I've been looking at Bonza. But, don't want monstrous sativas. Which is kind of what most of Australia is suited to growing imo. Unless you're in the more southern parts.

I use discreet seeds to get mine. As for strains that go well here usually strong sativas are a good bet for most of the country but you can grow pretty much anything if you can get them enough shade and water when it gets hot. A lot of strains i thought would be good here turn out terrible and some I think will be bad end up the best. Had a couple hundred dollars worth of seeds die from the heat this year but the freebie og kush from dinafem and delhi friend x blueberry from dr krippling have been growing great outside, however my brazillian sativas are still growing the best

If you dont want to risk importing seeds there are a couple of Aussie seed banks now pumping out some decent genetics. Southern Star Seeds and Dinkum seeds are the 2 main ones with plenty of good reviews. There is alsk Yantra Seeds but they seem a bit sketchy.

Importing getting riskier and riskier, alot higher % of mail gets scanned coming into Australia these days.

Do you know of anyone getting busted trying to import? Did they get an unwanted visit from the fuzz carying garbage bags?

I've got 8/8 from the attitude last year and 2/2 from green point seeds

Never heard about anyone being busted but you never know I never get them delivered to where you are growing though

ozcoco is on the money with ordering from the attitudeseedbank, & Vnsmkr is on point about bonza, ive ordered from UK & US banks for the last 17yrs without a hitch cept for 1 or 2 packets didnt turn up out of about 40-50 orders, no legal issues so far, if you like good solid yielding types then sensi seeds original northern lights which is good to breed/outcross with too, ive recently found mosca C99 is very good too in the same way as NL, buy both & cross them together, 10,000 seeds then of a bullet proof hybrid

Attitude/Choice, Midweek song (most reliable for me), Great Lakes Genetics (need to pay cash though and postage is $30US!), Demon Seeds. These are all banks I've used in the last 6 months (and many times prior) with success.
Being in QLD though, I'm unsure of how successful you will be as there have been quite a number of people complaining about orders being taken, either by postal workers or customs, I'm not sure either.
As for strains, sativa dominant for humid summers and indica doms for dry winters!

it loves the heat and humidity. AND requires less water
