i wonder why now too? never had a problem with my plush in the same cupboard...
if it concerns you that much chuck the culprite out, you said the other is fine, clone of it down the track.
Your question cant be answered man, you have plant matter growing in a cupboard, bugs will be attracted to them simple, they could have come from anywhere, through ducting, through intake, the cupboard being opened, its our summer season with quite a bit of humidity, the garden predators are out in force. All you can do is treat it.

is the second pump for underflow? i would probable use 2 pot socks, incase the roots wanted to bury deeper and break through!?? sounds like a good option though, would certainly work with my feeding schedule and drainage, thanx man, did you top yours like mine to get soo many heads on your last grow?

check my thread man my indoor, i just bombed white flies in my room, if u arent too far into flower than have a read :)
I sure did top flowa, not as much as you, i experiemented, i topped one and fimmed the other, then gave another round of topping to the one that was originally topped.
The second pump is to keep the flow through the bottom pots, this way you can run all pots and res at same level, you dont need it staggered as its always moving also supplying oxygen to the solution, its not gravity feed.
As for the roots in the crop boxes, once they hit the bottom of the rockwool slab and poke through, they air prune themselves, you need the rockwool slab so the roots can stretch all the way to end of each crop box. man you could seriously dominate using this method, its just really a diff pot setup, plus with air cooled hoods and perfect stable temps, god damn, could be one of the best grows ever for a single plant, theres alot of potential there.

i like your idea, however, rockwool is very unstable, and i think with usin cyco, as it's a liquid fert, with salts, the salt would be a fuckin issue, and sounds like more trouble, i heard rockwool is very unstable by itself, u say you got perlite around it and all, and you say with the extra pump it continuously recircs? is that what u mean?, hard to picture what u mean, is this a BIG rockwool slab?

yeah a slab that fits into crop box, mate the reality is any medium even perlite is unstable until you add your feed, thats why its called a medium, its only a means to protect roots and give plant stability, other than that the medium you use is irrelevant, its finding the right medium to deal with your strain, feed and cyclic timing of feed that encourages and pushes growth, perlite is good as a medium due to its drainage and retention qualities, it holds quite alot of moisture inc feed, same with coco, it only holds what feed it needs, well, rockwool is no different.
As for the pump, so you understand, think of each bottom pot holding your solution level at the drainage hole, as it spills into next pot, that pot will fill till it gets to the same level as the drainage hole, once that happens it will spill into the next pot as water is being pumped into the first pot, once all pots are full and it spills into the drainage, it runs back to your res, then again the pump pumps it into the bottom of first pot which will have a water level at drainage height. its an overflow effect basically causing a current through all the pots, as water drains more is pumped into the pot to replace, do you see what i mean.

Heres top view ; ( lame pics i know, only to give you idea )

Side view ; ( the pump forces each crop pot to overflow into the next, and eventually back to the res.

Second pump is a small pump to run a 13mm feed line to top, any left over solution from feed drips back into running solution, it doesnt sit stagnant in pot until solution level is at drainage height, a continuous current that also oxygenates the solution.

hahaha thanks for the advice shankae. im definitely the type to just bust her open and go hell for leather without reading instructions lol.

also the inside is mylar the same as the ones i sussed out in the hydro shop which is a relief. also the air con works a treat in 10 mins of operation it dropped my temp down 5c and dropped humidity down from 85% to 70% im sure if i left it on for longer it would get it right down. sooooo happpy!!

thats in a pretty big room too. i was considering jamming it in my tent under my scrog to get the most out of it but i really dont think i will need too.

so glad you ended up with a good tent.

I got all my gear sitting in my room waiting for me...unfortunately, I can't set it up (well I can, but it would be stupid as I am moving soon).

What I forgot to buy was some ducting and something to hang my cool tube/light up with. What is a good option? Money isn't an issue (to an logical extent) for a light mover...just want quality. Chains?

Where should I put my fan and ballast? Where is good to mount them? (1.2m^2)x2m mylar tent. 600w HPS.

Can't wait to turn her on........just have to move.

Fuck the chains off,we used to use them years ago and I knew then there had to be something easier.
Well there is Yo Yo 's
Ebays probably your best shot for price, shop around a bit as prices vary.Although they're inexpensive anyway.
Being able to grab your light and push it up or pull it down and it just stays where you let it go , one word brilliant!.
