Plenty of rip off merchants out there, don’t u love when they are trying to flog a strain and all u get is a pic of a seed ffs only a dc would buy that because they don’t know any better.

I’m not flogging anyone’s seeds, just statin who I use for my own personal stash. I use to use seedsman which are good, but they never arrive. So thought I’d give a few Aussie breeders/chuckers a go. I’m ok with supporting aussies in this current climate, at least the beans show up in the mail box within a few days. If they end up shit, I’ll never buy from them again simple as.

It might not happen like bananas tho coz its not like theres heeps of people around the world with bananas growing in their closet and having private collections of seed
Yeah but if the seeds/plants in their closet are too close genetically (which is becoming/is the case) it could happen exactly like that. People thought it wouldn’t happen to the bananas like it did and it nearly wiped out an entire industry worldwide.

personally I’d never deal with an Australian breeder. Fuck them having a single detail of mine. Heard Yantra rolled like a dog on their customers when they got raided by the pigs.

but what if all the weed get infected and dies out. I’ve got to worry man, I don’t have enough land to start a mass genetic diversity breeding program.
Expanding on genetic diversity if you have instagram follow irrazinig hes an indian guy with an amazing ig account documenting all indias genetics in extreme detail and also all there breeding techniques and what not, india is doing its part in keeping genetic diversity alive

Just start stocklpiling genetics old school ones prefferbly
unless someone’s got 20+ year old seeds laying around that have nothing to do with chem/cookies/blue dream etc than they aren’t worth having from a diversity standpoint. You pretty much want proper untampered land races

The main issue is that because of its mostly illegal status over the world the diversity has already been lost. There’s been a few studies done recently on strains and both ended on the conclusion that majority if not all strains shared lineage.

To be honest i can see that through the limited seeds ive popped i have noticed there are common/general varietys of weed for example, the citron givrè i grew out recently shared plant structure, bud structure and general impression as a purple moby dick i grew and also liberty haze i grew just small differences between them biggest difference bein smell and taste. Aswell as other strains sharing very similar traits, BUT i have only popped a small amount of seeds compared to how many genetics are out there and am still finding new plants that share next to 0 qualitys to others i have grown so i guess it depends how strictly you take genetic diversity out of the plants in my rooms i have 5 completely different strains in my eyes that i like

And also, all strains share lineage because they all originated from the same family as roses i believe so at some point there was only 1 strain so as it stands we have more variety than the very beginning

Yeah that’s fucked, I always use an alias and get delivered to a mates joint no grow there.

did u hear yantra and dinkum merged or is that bs?

I know an old cunt who pumps out about 40lb a year, he gets a real nice mix going on, his even got a dedicated seed fridge. Loves his ace seeds and dinafem.

don’t get confused with genetic differences and genetics diversity. Just because there are genetic differences doesn’t mean they are diverse. Like looking at a family, they could all have genetic differences but you wouldn’t call them genetically diverse.

Been nuthin new for awhile. Just seems to be the same stuff interbread.
the biggest issue was the slash and burn approach management that majority of governments used which would have wiped out a decent portion of true land races before they where ever catalogued. Than chuck illegal growers into the mix who would have polluted what was left with purchased seed stock. How many outdoor growers over the last 30+ years have let a male flower and let the wind pick it up and spread it.
