those are all gimmicks at best and “claim” to stop hermies. They won’t turn your male plant female unfortunately.
Ok so i have been reading that in rare cases a female plant due to stress, over feeding or PH issues can produce seeds simply to ensure its survival. Now my mate sayz If i had let my medium dry up and starve the plant for a day or two the seed pod developments would have dried up and dropped off before producing seed. And there woild have been a chance at getting it back on track he said these things "the most easiest thing to member and the earliest thing is the leaves if it starts pumping 7 towards starting time of flowering its pretty good sign to say its female cos males dont grow 7 leaves" i know this isn't correct more an old theory proven wrong by genetic advances in plants etc. He also said "theres is another way inny also to tell cos each branch off the main stalk is very very close together on a male and on a female theres a good gap like box gap lol from ol boy (loopers) lol look for box gap" he also says that in the pic i sent him and i have attached that its clearly flowering? I got a word apomixis..... Did I jump the gun in chopping it up.? The stems were so sticky like fkn glue and stunk as i hacked branches off now I know and respect your wisdom and knowledge Reza but could i have put in work. Like male plants are normally tall and lanky with fuck all leaves mine was far from.that

Speach even king henry himself woulda been proud of..

Ur edit to that post before you said you only been growin cpl years?
Only one way to learn how to swim an thats by jumpin straight out in the deep end.
Yeah, only been growing seriously for a couple of years. I read & learned/absorbed a lot from here & implemented what I believed to be true (rejected the rest).

I didn't come down in the last rain-shower, so I had to filter the good stuff from the bullshit & went with the rest.

Don't talk about jumping ona Sunday night -I have to go to work tomorrow.....

An i agree theres allot of bullshit out there but its upto you to use abit of common sense aswell an dont believe everything thats gets sent your way..

Why no jumping:confused: Thought gettin loaded on magic mushies an jumping outta a plane was the best way to kick start ya week

I’ve used kill-a-mite and still do. It’s a proper class “whatever” (can’t remember) insecticide. The thing with it tho is you can’t use it more than twice in one season. So that’s once, and again in 7days,, that’s considered as one treatment, and u can do that one more time and that’s it.
I haven’t had to use it much at all and each time I have it’s absolutely smashed them out with no more problems.
Good to know Venus, yea it’s meant to be good stuff. I used it twice the second time was one week later. My scrog canopy was really thick and was hard to smother everything. Maybe that’s where I went wrong? I thought afterwards that I Should of done a decent defol first!?

No your mate is filling you with terrible info. You cant tell a male from a female until they start flowering.

Looks like a female that started to hermie on ya man. Best thing to do is don’t waste any more time on it and give it the chop imo.
From my experience, Generally a male will have more explosive growth in veg and grow taller than the females for pollination purposes then you will see round balls as preflowers.
I’ve had 1 seed of a 10 pack of feminised sour diesel just one day explode with pollen sacks.
So even fem seeds can do it. I figured it was just a bad seed/genetics.

That's a full male, nothing you could do about it

PLEASE READ (then hit me with your 2 cents please and I promise I'll drop the subject and move on)

☆ CAN you reverse a Male to a Female & vice versa...??☆

♤ If it identifies as female it produces less ethylene or no ethylene hormones. Genetically it's still a hermi. Cannabis carries more than 2 chromosomes....
And A Hermie (1/2) male, can be turned into a female even if its pollintaed and turned on you.

♤Technically no because genetically a male can't change to female. Only a very small number of cannabis plant's are male or female. Littraly 1 in 1000's the rest are all hermaphrodite and have the ability to charge their sex organs through hormones.

♧Cannabis is not male or female as it as more than 2 chromosomes. Can you reverse the flowering expression from male to female yes.
A cannabis plant determines it's sex based on hormone levels. Spraying with STS ect genetically stops the production of ethylene gas and forces the plant to produce male plant's. By adding ethylene you can't revert a plant that doesn't produce ethylene (Male) into female. 1 way of doing this is by using ripe fruit. Here is a male that as been reversed using fruit. It's only about 14 days after using fruit to reverse the male

♧Fertile female flowers can be induced in male plants by ethephon (2-chloroethanephosphonic acid) and NIA 10637 (ethylhydrogen-l-propylphosphonate). Interestingly, stamens could be seen arising even from fruits. Stopping the application of growth regulators caused the plants to revert to their original sex. We hypothesized that in Cannabis, GA and ethylene act as male and female hormones respectively, and that the expression of sex is controlled by a balance between their endogenous levels. Abscisic acid (ABA) is able to overcome the GA induced male flower formation.
Although many worry about toxicity resulting from use of growth hormones and fertilizers, the toxicity of ethephon is actually very low, and any ethephon used on the plant material is converted very quickly to ethylene.

How to force a male plant to show female characteristics

The most critical thing to consider before trying this technique for yourself is that it will require using chemicals that can be harmful to both pets and people, so it is vital that the plants can be kept away from anyone and anything who might accidentally touch or consume some of the additives. Once you have a safe spot selected, you can begin the process, but it does require the application to be at a particular stage of growth, so it is no good for older already established plants.

Grow a marijuana plant until it begins to display characteristics of a male like pollen sacks.

Purchase one bottle of ethylene, which is a female marijuana plant hormone, as well as a pair of gloves and a face mask to protect yourself from any accidental inhalation of the substance.

Sprinkle the ethylene overtop of the branches of the plant, focusing your attention on the leaves and stem joints.

Set your lighting system to 12 hours of light per day, and patiently await the results. Remember, this will only work on real male plants, so if you have a hermaphrodite, it will not be nearly as noticeably effective....

Yeah that’s what I wanted to say too, that u have to be sooo thorough when spraying. I use one of those pump sprayers with the wand so it’s easy to stick it in there and get everywhere u need to

nothing your mate said is true. You’ve got a male not a hermi. How many fingers a fan leaf produces has nothing to do with sex and neither does internodal spacing. Males can also produce resin and therefore smell and be sticky.

he’s right about 1 thing thought, it is clearly flowing, it just happens to be producing male flowers not female.
