An elbow in a 4 x 4 is pretty easy. People are pulling 2 plus. (i think bong pulled 2 and 1/2 from a 4 x 4 last cycle or the cycle before with a 550. Not sure @Bongsmoke420 .) One in a 5 x 5 is not very good if ya chasing yields, if not then it doesn't matter.
Some strains just don't yield well, that's OK id rather quality over yield.

Guy in the vid I posted above pulled 4 per light (550v2's) last harvest I think. Papa would know as he is a 550 guy and follows GML fairly hard but he doesn't pop into RIU much anymore.

He chases yield and quality together that’s the aim of the game (for him). Your right people are doing it or claiming to do it but only the best are pulling it off, if @Bongsmoke420 is getting those yields I tip my hat to you sir that’s no easy feet.

I can honestly say this is the first negative review of the HLG lights that I've seen. Cost aside, I've found them to be pretty good. They do run surprisingly hot though.

@Lucky Luke - I'll check out that video, cheers

SWIM has a 5x5 tent and it'll be interesting to see how a 12-16 plant SOG goes with just one hlg 550 light.

That vid doesn't show to much except to show you his set up and get an idea of what he does. Gives you someone to check out though. He liked the HLG so much he is now the Canadian distributer for them.

Hey I’m just being honest an not dribbling shit mate. My first run in a 4x4 with the hlg I got 10ozs.

But in my 4x4 with a 600 hps magnetic ballast and a cmh 315 I can pull 1.5 pounds.

I’m a seller more than a smoker but I also think the hps-cmh grow is a better finished product to

Im liking the CMH Ive been running lately. Denser buds and brings out the oils over the 600W HPS.Easy to work under as well. May add a red or the flowering initiator LED at a later date.

Is a constant 60% RH going to cause issues through flower?

Will take note, but after splashing out on the HLG I'll give that a good go first and add a HPS down the track if needs be.

@Lucky Luke - that GML guy has a sweet setup... thanks for the vid.

If you can get it lower that would be good (Dehumidifiers work well) but as long as you have allot of air flow you should be OK. Lower RH aids in the oil production I read recently, not sure if its true.

He also has a show on today if u subscribe to his channel you will get an email to the link. (Starts in a couple hrs). They also give away a light every month (or more- Stephen can be very generous). I don't run a 550 but more cal and a higher temp seems to be a tip with them.
