Fuarken loving this critical structure only had 1 round of topping and side branches galore. The blue cheese which I'm favouring as a keeper has horrible structure in veg very tight and bushy but explodes in flower into something decent shame it doesn't have this structure to begin with.20210404_152907.jpg
And a lil porn of blue cheese20210404_090835.jpg
And double black

I think ill give the double black another chance even tho I found a male flower because its got good structure, stretch , quality and yield so far and it has been a particularly stressful run for these girls been getting bathroom renovated so having to go in during lights off to turn fans off and what not.

The Critical Kush I grew was top stuff, big dense buds. Did have a slight mold issue but I’ll be on to it this time round.

Also done a tent strip and clean day, cleaned pot saucers, sanitized tent walls and floor, sprayed cloth pots and top soil with Neem and replaced sticky traps. More LST, a very light lollypop to just help with airflow lower down plus done a nanners check which was all clear. View attachment 4870699

One plant has a lot of hairs, like some kind of pre-flower. Is this normal when it's only been on 18/6 or could this seed be an auto?
Hey, 1st time poster. Neem Oil & Dr Bronners blue label peppermint NATURAL castile soap. This mainly for Thrips but is very good & may help your problems? If used early enough will KO em but if too late then have to use something stronger. Neem is systemic so once its in the plant it stays there & the insects will die if they have a nibble. It can be also put on your soil or coco. Dr Bronners can be bought at Priceline chemists here in Oz (Its the BLUE bottle) or online & Bunnings neem is fine. Spray the whole plant about 1hr before lights out. Don't be shy with it. Spray under leaves as much on top & let it run the stems & trunk. The ratio of the mix is:
Converted from 1 gallon to 1 litre below:

30mls / 3.79 litres = 8mls Neem
15mls / 3.79 litres = 4mls Dr Bronners blue label castile soap

Cheers im ordering the old 1 part megacrop as
Yeah pops garden is no longer so you’ll have to order from the states. If you go for the 2 part Don’t order the part b. It’s just calcium nitrate which you can buy locally much cheaper.
cheers. I got calcium nitrate in salts aswell as mpk and map. Im using old part 1 megacrop.

Good job on keeping things clean will save you alot of headaches down the track aswell as possibly harvests.. I doubt it's an auto its most likely just pre flowers, some strains will struggle with 18/6 and wanna try flower under light like that still and some strains will just throw out preflowers like crazy think of it as puberty she's ready
Ok awesome cheers mate, yes trying to keep everything clean/sterile and give the grow no reason to fail. The grow is mainly for my wife to make edibles for some significant pain. So i'd be devastated if something went wrong.

That's good news about the pre-flowers, had me a bit confused i might of got an auto somehow. I think me and her need to have the talk about doing the flip if shes ready to party already.

BTW those blue cheese and double black look amazing, powder galore!

Ok fantastic info mate, i have never heard of the Dr Bronners soap before either. I've been using a 1L cold pressed neem oil i got on Ebay (this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Neem-Seed-oil-100-Pure-oil-Top-Quality-Fresh-All-purpose-oil-1-ltr/172116661146) and gone through about 400ml already over a number of waterings. I do mix in a bit of organic liquid soap, it's helped a little but i'm still plagued by these gnats.

Also i'm using soil and fabric pots, they have been a blessing and a curse. Fungus gnats can go in and out the sides though the fabric, so it's not just the surface of the pot you are dealing with it's all over the pot. So i've even sprayed down the pots with neem and saturated the cloth. I think a bag of Osmocote from Bunnings bought in the gnats.

I think i will get on top of them when these dunks arrive, when the gnats clear up i reckon these plants are going to boom. I appreciate the info, and will checkout the Dr Bronners in Priceline. Cheers.

personlly I’d recommend going for the new 2 part especially if you’ve already got calcium nitrate. It’s essentially the same as the 1 part but it separates the calcium nitrate meaning it’s easier to lower the nitrogen levels in flower.

Keeping the rez pathogen free will be a problem unless you have a solution for that in place. Calcium hypochlorite or H2O2 added regularly will help.
Can anyone help me out here a bit? Physically I did some sealing off around my Rez, but the chems mentioned here just don't seem to be available here in Australia. H202, in anything stronger than 3% needs to come from US? Is 3% OK? And the only Australian supplier of CalciumHypochlorates' cart wanted me to give them a reason for buying it with a message that they would get back to me. Any help as to how potentially clean up my Rez would be greatefully appreciated.
