Just get a 6inch carbon filter, hang it above the light and run it 24/7 at about 2-3 week of Veg.
The straighter and shorter the ducting is, the less problems you going to have.

Yeah just a small carbon filter will do the trick then, get a fan and filter combo and just scrub the air in the tent and exhaust it to the garage and leave all your other intakes the way they are. If there is still smell, dim the intake fan of you can or swap it out for a smaller fan
