read what I wrote fuck head. I suggested he get help. I just let the professionals decide what the best help is. Not some dumb prick on the internet who had an antidepressant and everything was peachy again.

You just fundamentally don't understand depression, which in the world we live in is the most likely case. Just going of statistics not off factual evidence.
I never suggested he go straight to a dr and put a gun to his head and get medication, nor going against any professional advice.
Going to the doctor implies going for a chat. If it is a simple case of depression simple medication can help that.. Just as other medication helps other conditions. I never said to not go to therapy, merely offered a supplementary possible thing that may help.

I've been told the same thing plenty.of times but I don't go and get meds cos I feel if I'm left alone on my dark days I can get thru it but I also feel the ppl close to me understand that and back.off while I do it and always eventually get back to normality

There is so much more work to do with mental health that's for sure...weed definitely helps me but doesn't help everyone
Everyone has a responsibility to them selves to find what works for them as much for their sake if not for close loved ones.
It's the ones that suffer that don't have loved ones to fall back on that spare on thin ice between reality and what they hear in their head .....

it took a gp all of 15 mins to prescribe a random anti-depressant that made my already severe mental health condition degrade suddenly and rapidly, but it took a panel of 3-5 drs, all of who are mental health specialists (ie only treat mental health cases) 3 weeks to figure out anti depressants of any kind wouldn’t make my condition any better.
GP’s aren’t mental health professionals they are there to direct you to someone who is. One of the main issue our society is facing with mental health is gps over prescribing anti depressants without proper diagnosis and according to the drs during my last hospital visit a large number of people they see admitted are because of gps incorrectly prescribing anti depressants which exacerbate existing issues.
I can do all that on a penny farthing

I read where a bloke works on getting about an ounce/litre of pot size. eg 8 litre pot grows 8 ounces. Any body agree/disagree
