Awesome im guessin you had good results from it aswell. Thinkin of droppin the cuttin after clonex into a jiffy pellet then into small closed container
Yeah, it's always worked well for me.
I use the purple gel when I root in pellets, blocks or coco; but the liquid in yellow bottle when I use the aerocloner.

I don't have a spare $1500 for the HLG light i would like
When you buy leds your paying for the diodes to be the ones you actually want I.e. correct efficiency and spectrual outputs (china crap has a tendency to swap diodes out since majority of people have no way to test them) and for the correct size copper traces in the boards (something China also skimps on to save money).

If you want to buy leds buy good ones or stick to hps lights. I wouldn’t buy anything from Mars after seeing their lights literally catch on fire from manufacturing defects.

For boards I’d suggest staying with hlg, cutter or messaging prawnconery about his highlights, otherwise buy some strip (I’d recommend bridglux EB strips gen 2 or 3 but there are plenty of others out there) and build your own.

A CFL will do fine for rooting cuttings for sure.

I use the aerocloner when I want to leave them in a bit longer but I prefer blocks... i'm old school I guess but also I don't have the same success rate for some reason. In blocks it's 99% but in the aero its more like 75% with a handful refusing to root and just get slimy. So usually I just fall back to what I know best.
