Noinch isn’t that first pic u posted a male plant? Why would u be flowering that?
First two are males. I've been 'breeding' for 7ish years since I live in the middle of a residential area. Found it was better worth my time to prepare myself a large seed stock for the future while I can't get away with growing large plants here. Plus the best weed I've grown have been from my own crosses and I have thousands of those seeds so plenty of reason for me to keep males around. Also helps I know a lot of people that do grow on a large-ish scale and they all grow my own seeds so I get a lot of free weed so I don't mind my own plants being full of seeds

Here's a couple phenos from my Apollo 11 x Purple Badlands cross

After dropping hlg 550 v2 light to 400mm from their recommended 600mm, they started gaining weight quick...
Wish I'd known that sooner. Buds looking ok, bit fluffy but plenty good enough for oil.

Pic 1 Durban poison 8 weeks, getting some purples coming in. 2 weeks left on it from what i can see

Pic 2 sour diesel, 8 weeks. This one is looking real frosty, looking like another 2 weeks. Bit worried about mold on this one as the bigger buds are super dense and it didn't get much air circulation.

Pic 3 og kush 5 weeks. This thing is packing weight already and isn't half way through to maturity. I guess that's what better lighting can do, lollipoped and not too many colas, looking to be my new favourite

This gmo x stardawg is looking ridiculous for being full of seeds and outside in winter (only been flowering for a few weeks too). Also I couldn't help myself from planting some purple haze x honduras seeds I recently received, 3/4 are officially above ground. Doing those 12/12 from seed inside so hopefully they finish before the end of the year

Ok boys and girl, show me your tool

No not that one

I mean magnifying glass or other tool you use to check ripeness. I bought a jewellers loupe and its trash, but i can't think of anything better to use??

If not using magnifying tool, how are you all checking when buds are done?

I've tried a few things. For handheld best so far is one of those clip-on macro lens for phones & tablets; you can take a crapload of shots on the tablet and just zoom in and move around looking at trics. Alternatively I find the loupe isn't as trashy once you use it more like a pair of glasses; open it fully horizontal, the middle section on the bridge of your nose, find the most comfortable magnification and use your head to zoom in and out. But yeah loupe are somewhat trashy. I find the macro lens easiest.
