Still having some issues getting some of the Kush crosses dialed into these new nutes, think they got a bit of light shock aswell going from the T5 to HPS but the 88’s are going alright still.

what are the new nutes? i found the answer to my queries about H&G being more watered down. they lowered the N value about 3 years ago and added a straight nitrogen additive to the line up

fucking ouch - I know that pain very well. I've got mangled digits and toes from breaking and dislocating them too much when I was younger.

In happier news (after the move from hell) I've just cracked out some 88G13HP x NL#1 for a soak and getting a grow started in the new house
Is that a bodhi strain ?

I
Should I look at popping some of my favourite smoke like orange og and trying to get a female and then getting GPS pollen of a decent strain and chucking ?
Or would it be easier just to put half dozen down and harvesting and saving the pollen for later use ?
It's only a small tent I use so I'm wondering wether I should be doing a 2 week veg then flipping or trying to go to flower straight from seed ?
If its under fluro. Then its properly best to veg for 2 weeks before flipping.

The new stuff is from Mills, got given some to try out and it’s not bad stuff but I just can’t get them in a groove with it. I’ll give it another week now they are in the new space but if they are still getting funky new growth I’ll hit them a hit with H&G aqua flakes I’ve got here and see how that treats them.
Are you sure they actually dropped the N value ? I remember them bringing the N product out but was told that was because the U.S guys had a longer veg than the Euros and wanted more N so instead of messing with the formula you could add your own. They did move production to the U.S about 3 years ago so maybe they did change it up a bit. I always thought there was plenty of N but I was using their foliar spray aswell once a week so that might be why I didn’t notice ?

That was one of the complaints about their base you’d hear, that there was too much leaf in flower I like to give them a good pluck anyway after week 3 and again about week 5-6 which solves that problem

you are a braver man than me. i have crazy humidity where i live. plucking a leaf from a bud is almost guaranteeing bud rot. when the stem dies back it gives the shit a place to get a foot hold

Yeah I know its not hard - rewired my led panel yesterday that I had to break down into parts for the move. The worst part was screwing in the million fucking screws and nylon washers I used to fix them to the aluminium sheet.

Still, with that finger ruby'll be fucked wiping his arse let alone building a light
Man dope the pain comes n goes but when it comes it's for 40 mins or so and feels like a 12 out of 10

With less leaves you have better air flow and less transpiration which helps against mould but calcium and more importantly sap ph levels will prevent it,if you can get sap ph levels to 6.4 you will never have a fungal issue of any kind on any plant but it’s easier said than done. I’be ordered a sap Ph meter “for work” hopefully have it by Thursday

My ballast is just a cheapo Growlush magnetic. Cheapo bulbs as well.

I think it was @Dr. Who, who said he found no difference between expensive bulbs and cheap bulbs
Basically this is correct!

The advantage you might gain in a "name brand" bulb. Is nowhere near the cost difference in a "normal" bulb used in greenhouse's....
Say like Hortilux vs Plantmax. I still but Plantmax by the case...
