It’s also a bit of a red light having a dramatic increase in power in a short period of time, and if it’s got the new smart meters they record how much power your using at all times so they can pick 12/12 and 18/6 cycles
Kinda glad that our house has those dodgy old ones you could screw with just by placing a magnet on the side. Not that I've ever done it. But knew a guy in our game that did.

I’ve never tried the magnet trick but I know a guy that drilled a hole in the cover and somehow managed to get honey down onto the disk and he reckons it fouled it up a bit and slowed it down lol. I’ve got my own little trick I’ve never seen or heard of it being used by anyone else and I’ve used it on and of for about 10 years.

Cheers for that i got some econeem and pyrethrin but i might look into that killamite stuff
Can only use the kill a mite twice in one season too or else they form a resistance to it. Once u've done the two doses and follow on with neem u can stick with it cos apparently they can't form resistance to neem at all.

This idea of a diy c02 generator is intriguing me. I don't honestly think I'll need the gas to "fall" on my plants, as I'll have that bitchen circulation fan going pretty much the whole time.

Alternating attacks stop them from building resistance.
They don’t really form a resistance they breed a resistance,if you don’t use the right amount of pesticide or don’t get proper application the mites that survive generally have a better tolerance to that chemical so they breed and pass the resistant gene on and do that over and over (think spider mite life cycle is 6 weeks ) and pretty soon that pesticide no longer kills any of the population

Your right about that,I’ve even seen guys buy the equipment and then lose their nerve or situations change best thing to do is make sure everything is sorted before you start otherwise the temptation is to just start and finish of as you go and that always ends up being a shit fight
And i aint stirring up out mate joomby
Ive just seen to many not even get past first base
