And if there in 16hours of light or more I think they would flower if left outside if hes only getting 13 hours or less sunlight
we are at 12:45 sunlight hrs. But the plants are young so may not even reveg if they are getting full sun.
But yea, either way is a win.

Only found out since last season it’s the amount of darkness that triggers flower not the length of daylight if that makes sense, for example if you had lights on for 10 ,lights off for 6,lights on for 2,lights off for six the plant wouldn’t start to flower even though it’s recieving less than 12 hours of light, that’s how you can stop them flowering outside with minimal supplemental lighting. If they don’t receive 12 hours uninterrupted darkness from what I gather flowering won’t start.

Yeah haven’t heard of that one in years, think it must have worked better for flower growers than pot growers. You ever try it ?

no I haven't I was reading a thread about it lot long ago on here. Seems to work fine. Same kinda growth rate as 18/6. I was thinking of doing next veg but I think Id be fucked up trying to set the timer and would probably have a few to many and lose track of on and off and open the tent and stuff.

If you had a digital controller of some type it would be easier but i look at it and think if it works as well as 18/6 the guys running those huge ops in the states would all be using it,even if you only saved an hour of lights on time if you have a few hundred lights that would be a huge annual saving. Maybe it can cause hermie issues ?

My last couple of runs used gas lantern. Not bad at all but I'm going the standard schedule this go around mainly cos heat isnt a drama anymore with the leds
So the reduction in heat was quite noticeable? The plants looked less stressed or healthier than they would have under 18/6 ?

if the line isn't very stable then yea I wouldn't be surprised If it pushed then into hermie but strong lines can be hard to hermie from what ive been reading. Buy you would know more about that than me.

Wasn’t sure if they were OO ones or not, what’s your thoughts on there being Thai in NL ?
to be honest I have no thoughts on it. seems to be a pretty stable line if that's what you mean?

As ive said before I'm new to all this shopping for seeds thing. I must say its fkn awesome but the linage and breedings hasn't grabbed me, at least not yet.
