Oh wow! I didn't knwo that! lol thanks! It would have been pretty tough for Johnnie to keep up and fill out with only 36 days to do it. Still, after 14 days in 12/12I would have thought she'd start stretching a lot more to make room on the stem for those buds. It will be really fun to watch this plant finish off, knowing what is waiting for me at the end of it all. Thanks again for the info.
 
It is going to be an awesome Xmas/New Years, and a whole bunch of us will be harvesting around the same time. We should have a 150w yield contest.

I knew you'd suggest that.. but!

Someone with 1 plant would have only 1/4 the chance that someone with 4 plants would have! Someone with 4 plants could have 3 shit yields and one great one whereas someone with 1 plant would have to have 1 badass plant and 0 shit yields!

lol.. I'll still take the friendly challenge...
 
Definitely all friendly, we should bring this to one of our journals, I'm sure Hackel doesn't want to read an entire conversation. Or we should start a new thread about the friendly contest.

Ahh this may indeed be true! I as a single plant grower, have only a quarter of the chance to get better yields, but I am banking on my one plant getting 4 times the attention... I will gladly get in on this! A Winter Harvest Contest will be a good motivator and just a whole bunch of fun! I must say though... even though your harvest may be last chronologically, your yield might be absurdly huge cuz you have, was it 5 colas starting up from your LST? Those little monsters + HPS = win! lol

HAHA I have no problems with it, though... I gladly sit here and read posts whenever I get them. And for such a good reason! Wouldn't dream of taing offence!

Surprisingly I have 8 I believe... Just from one LST.. I just bent the plant over and that was it! haha. I hope they actually produce good buds.. Not sure they will be strong enough to hold em tho!

OH and thats IF charlotte is FEMALE!

Well, like the cat said, vag is in the air! I am astounded! so in your past experiences, how fast do the buds reach their full or close to full size?

Beats me.. Im on my first "serious" grow. My only other grow was bagseed, I had it growing for a little more than 2 weeks, and I gave them to a friend... It was all under a 42w. the friend had to crop it early so it died prematurely!

other than that, I'm 100% n00b
 
The long awaited visual proof of femininity! The pistils are on two different nodes so that is the basis with which I assume that it isn't a hermie and it nothing but snatch from here on out! And even better is that I have another little Johnnie ready to send me more genetics when this grow is done! If this is an extremely heavy stone, I might have an early harvest next time so that I can have the choice of a cerebral vs body buzz. Just a thought... Well enough words... time for some pics!

The pics are all sideways because I couldn't get a good angle for the lens. I don't have the time to list them all with captions cuz clinicals are tomorrow, but I do have one of these pics where you can see about 3 different sets... 2 sets are way too easy to see and the other seems to be hiding behind one of the stems. Strange. The one I was also trying to get in the photo didn't show up, but one that I didn't even see showed up right off to the side, there!

I am just walking 2 inches off the ground right now! AND Obama will be the prez!!! A great week in my world!

So after only one day after the first sign of pistils, there are a couple more pistils around the main cola. I romoved one of the 42w lights in an attempt to reduce my temps at least back into the upper 80's. I have checked the temps for the past couple of days and they have been consistently 90 or 91. I will lose a small bit of side lighting, but I am also not stunting the growth of my plant. I know that I am only at day 15 of 50 for flowering after 20 of veg, but I am still wondering if I will have anything more than a few popcorn buds. The side nodes are still kinda smallish if you ask me... Do they really just swell up insanely in the last 30 days?

I might put my pics from today up tomorrow night.
