wow. this is a keeper. this purple pheno, aurora indica. growing. well, it needs no supporting. a plus. the limbs are thick, strong, and produce large colas. i toped some kept one un topped. the untopped, makes a huge central cola. with three smaller colas, and then a crown of medium buds. very nice. in fact, i have one in now, that has 3 weeks to go, to make it to 59 days. and its cola is now about 11 inches tall, and thick as a banana. the plant stretches very little, so veg it to like 23". it is not overly stinky, in grow, but if you touch it, and smell your fingers, its really different. feeding, it took nutes very well, with no sign of any burn, or other ow'ees. lol. i only had my first two in 3 gal pots. soil. i got over 3 oz off off the two plants. but my current one has more than that now, with 3 weeks to go.....young clones are fairly vigorous.
smoke report: after just one week in the jar, i wanted to try it. i know to expect a so-so taste, at this point. i was pleasantly surprised. it tasted swell. earthy, with a kind of twang i cant put my finger on..almost chemical taste. but good. more like flowers than bud. its not as "rich" tasting as my bc godbud, but i will give it a 9.6 on potency. and say a 7 on taste. the buds are very firm. and have lots of orange/brown hairs. they say do not push this plant too long. i found 59 days, 8 1/2 weeks, to be great. i may try 9 or so. but they warn against too long. well, its a keeper. the last week, it gets very much purple leaves and tops. so now, i have three keepers. bc god, medijauan, and now this aurora indica. now, to see how my mad shack comes out. almost time to cut some clones of it.... i hope this is helpfull. i have had some problems with posts. like the usual thing, any tradiional values, are not put up with, by the new left. so i must bear up to it, and hope this makes it to you good folks, who are considereing growing this nice plant. ps. so far, no herming, etc. hard hitting, couch lock buzz. stay in! aurora indica harvest! 004.jpgaurora bud 003.jpgaurora bud 006.jpg

Looks afgani dom., the afghan dom plants seem to get purple late in flower, looks good. If you enjoyed the ai you would like nirvanas chrystal or their ice, the ice is very nice and fuely better yield than ai, the chrystal is a better yielding plant as well slightly fruity. Both are more potent than the aurora indica as well by a good margin especially if you find a keeper.

i disagree... the NL gets purple too. ive grown alot of nirvana. chrystal is awesome as hell but this guy didnt ask you to critique his strain selection dude.

EDIT: btw almost ALL plants get purple at the end of flower when the temps and PH are right. at least MOST modern hybrids. i just discussed this with a room full of growers... they all agree 100%

in fact... DONT go any farther than that in flower dude. i would geuss that u had it perfect. ive been experimenting with that alot lately w/ nirvana's blackberry and white rhino... they both seem to have the THC decompose quickly in the centers of the buds if you let them go too long.
almost every single nirvana plant ive had has shown purple around the time it was ready to pick too. just recently my venus flytrap. the tops got purple on them, mostly on the leaves but some calyxes too. i didnt expect that strain to go purple at all. its top44 x power plant.

thanks everyone for the responses. i did not take it that way, that one critisized my strein choice, rather, i appreciated the info on the two he mentioned. id heard those were good fuely smoke. never had it, or smoked either. i feel, that any strein can be fire or just so-so. based on what genes each seed had. i know where this came from. and he is a 30+ year veterean of growing, and the last few years, breeding. he dosent release ANYTHING, that is not up to his high standards of what he thinks each strein he works with, is. again, my thanks to all who responded. feel free to add me, if you like. peace and prosperity, to all.

I thought you grew seeds directly from nirvana, looks like a nice pheno regardless. Ive grown their ai on several occasions both indoor and out, not very impressive outdoor but its got potential.

looks to be a great one for outdoors. its a fast finisher. and, i took the clones of this perosns tree, in early august. it was about 8 ft tall, and as wide. so i guess it gets large enough, out doors......trunk was as large as my wrist. the plant next to it, was a berry white, and it looked wonderfull. and nerly as large. i have some of sannies seeds. i poped one of mad shack. and have hercules, extreama, and extreama x heribei.

Hello guys! What's up? Well, I had placed an order through Single Seeds & they through in a pack of the AI on the house. And idk what the hell happen 2 mine!! But I swear, they looked nothing like yours there bro! They where all strechy! And had tiny side branches all over. I didn't know if it was just that particuar bean, or what it was! The plant ended up being a male! And I only cracked 1. I have 10 left. Maybe that's what it was! The fact it ended up male.. you think???

yes, not very impressive. i have not grown one outdoor yet, however, the plant the person let me cut my clones from, early august, was about 8' tall, and maybe 6 wide. could not have been more than a four or five pounds on it, at finish. but, that will be enough for my jars, until i can find a real heavy yielder............so far, my indorr i vegged till 23". i got a couple oz. not so crowded now. im sure it will go to 3.

I threw my AI clones away, potency was not up to par, the taste was good. I say it's average.
Grew five AI seeds outdoors last year and was very dissapointed. Three were female with one 3 ft tall and purple, another 3 1/2 ft tall and the third was almost 6 foot tall. None of them looked like the same breed. That's all fine n dandy but the buds were very light and not potent. Threw everything away. Got five remaining seeds trying to figure out if I should try another indoor grow or just throw them away in favor of another proven breed. Thinking I'm better off with another kind.
