Ok, This is technically my second grow, but my first one was a male bagseed. So i decided to start over with an actual strain.

Regular/Female: feminised

Indoor/Outdoor: indoor

THC Content: strong; 15 to 24%

Flowering Weeks: 8 or fewer weeks

Yield (S.O.G.): 450 to 550g per 9 plants I think

Difficulty: moderate

Grow Box
(in imperial, sorry)
Height: 2' 7"
Width: 1' 7"

ALRIGHT! She has only had dirt between her toes for a little under 48 hours and already she looks eager to please.

Hey Big Chillin. Looking forward to this grow and am subscribed! Love the covert cab - nice design! Did you go for feminised seeds this time or risking it for a biscuit? Either way best of luck and will be checking in on progress. Dont you just love it when they pop their heads out the soil all set to please. :-)

I was checking these out from N-S.

That yield is for 3'X3' not 9 plants. They don't explain that they mean 3 square feet.

This plant is supposed to be a winner.

Dafoe23, Thanks man! I've been worried about the height in there. I'm thinking I'm going to have to train the shit out of them. And I certainly went for fems this time. My last plant was a bagseed and got to like 2 months before I realized it was a dude. Heartbreaking.
Wasmoker, That's great! I know journals are time consuming, but maybe set one up? I love to see how other peoples plants are doing!
And StreetRider, you are absolutely right. I still don't know how i got 9 plants. I didn't even remember the 3x3. Anyways, on to the update!

Day 3 in soil

Ok, so not a whole lot happened but we'll update anyway to make it religious.

I found my thermometer! No more guessing for me.

Also, regarding nutes, I know i won't need them for awhile but when i do, all i have is flowering nutes. Is it better than nothing? they're 15-30-15

Hey fella. Not sure about the flowering nutes for vegging. Different levels for different reasons. I used the plagron terra grow for vegging and terra bloom for flowering. Am well impressed with both and really noticed the difference during vegging with the nutes - helped make some big old stems to carry the weight of buds I'm hoping for - yeah right lol. Will keep checking in. Try ebay for cheap nutes???

Just be carefull with your little one. Do not fertlize with anything strong at all. And when you do start begin with it at like 1/4 strength. Then slowly work your way up to full strength. I am not a dirt grower myself, but I can tell you that no plant likes to be over fed. You are better off early on running on the lean side instead of the rich.

Ya i know i won't need any for a little while I was just hoping someone knew if flowering nutes would make her susceptible to disease. But i'll definitely try ebay. i need to switch to liquid anyways....Update time!

So my textured leaves are really coming along. Will finally be able to use all the light i'm throwing at it.

hey i got that same colorburst stuff for my first grow, ended up finding a hydro store before i used it though, so i got some better stuff. Seams like a good choice for veg though, although if i recall it was only $4 bucks pretty damn cheap stuff, so idk

oh and to you're comment, i already do have a journal setup. I just planted the seed, and its with other plants(go to page two to see the update of when i planted the AI). here's the link if you're interested: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/193317-first-time-grow-diy-my.html

The problem with flowering nutes is that there is very little nitrogen in most flower ferts. Not more desease prone just slow growth and possible missing nutes. Just a heads up.

Hmmm the beads in it are color coated....If i could find out which was which i could mix my own from it. And I wish I could find a hydro shop. I live in a VERY unfriendly state so I suspect if there is one here it's hiding.

Day 5 in soil

So there's been little change. But i'm still trouping along. The texture has really started to show in the second set.

Busy busy busy. But i'm back... Again.

LimitedTimer, I actually JUST went out and bought another splitter so I'm now running two low k and two high k for a total of 400w equiv. I just found some monstrous 300w low k cfls for like 20 dollars, so i'm hoping to grab two of those for flowering. Now to the pictures!

Day 8 in soil

Oh. And I went through my nutes and pulled some green beads and added it. I'm 90% sure they're nitro.

Haha. And while I was posting this I saw a little piece of grass growing in my soil. See if you can find it!

Day 9 in soil

Alright. I know it's a little early to name my plant as she has yet to become a she. But I'm gonna do it anyways. I'm thinking Destiny seems fitting as this is just the first step in my grand plan. Any ways is low to mid 80's ok? Seems warm to me, but she LOVES it.
