Gotta good recipe ? just pollinate ?
yes & yes
hash is a process not a recipe I've only done dry seived hash and Isopropyl extracted oil (yuk !)
Seived hash is best done on cured leaf & bud IMHO, I like to make canna butter with the seived residue (leaf & bud matter.
I'm no expert on hermieing but what I hear is it's easy to induce hermeing by stress in plants from previously hermied plants that the seeds came from. It might even not take ANY stress if was going to. Thai weed is notorious for hermeing.

Good info thanks! My girlfriend will probably try making butter.

After further investigation I believe I caused the hermng with a red led headlamp I would use occasionally after lights out to tend my plants. I did not time my 12 12 correctly had it from 6a-6p. That left me no time at night to tend the garden. I assumed red light wouldn't bother them. I hear it's the worst..... That in combination with bagseed probably caused it. I F'd up plain and simple. Lesson learned.

the good thing about butter is it's a very long lasting high, good for cronic pain.

Well I took your advice and thought about it. You're right I will grow to completion and just make a bit of butter. Edibles are great. I won't look at it as a failure but instead an opportunity to try something new. I've never made it before. Thanks for your insight man!

How do you feel about the ratio of trimmings and or bud to butter?
"
I usually cook with trim and use the ratio of 1oz of trim to 1lb butter. When using bud, I use 1/4oz bud to 1lb butter. For this batch I'm using 2oz of trim and 2lb butter. Your results will vary depending on how strong your trim or bud is, and you can only dial it in through experimentation. Final product too strong? Dilute by melting in a pot with more butter. To weak? Run it again with more trim / bud. You can't really screw it up. "
Pretty much the ratio I would use, you loose a lot of butter in the filters and the weed itself soaks some up when you squeeze it out of the strainer bag so making it to strong wastes a lot of thc.
