Hello guys, first off i just want to thank anyone who is able to help.
I have just purchased a 6" cooltube w/reflector. I am growing vertically therefore i do not need the reflectors and have taken out the reflective material.
There is one problem tho. There is a bar of metal that runs the length of the cooltube and connects the two metal collars on each end. The bar is glued in with silicon sealer and can be removed with some elbow grease.
My question is this... It seems as tho this bar exists for the structural integrity of the cooltube. Is it possible to remove this bar and still have a safe grow.
like i said i am growing vertically and the bar is an obvious obstruction of light.
