At what point do we call the dispensary system a miserable failure

its expensive now, yes there is no getting around that. But what drives the prices down? Competition drives prices down. Right now there is zero competition so prices will remain high

I remember Denver about 3 years ago. Dispensaries were competing with everyone and prices dropped super low down to the 150 an oz it is now. I remember big punch bowls filled with prerolled joints you could have from just coming in the door. Free this or that with every order. It was amazing. But I can guarantee it didnt start off like that

Coloroda has no law limiting the number of dispensaries in the state. The dispensaries can also be for prifit. There also is no 25 mile monopoly rule buplshit. For these specific reasons colorado has a free market when it comes to cannabis production. This state restricts all of those criteria listed above which would be a free market. AZ has a socialized medical marijuana program; the government controls the means of production. Until that changes everything you say will happen will not.

Good point, I completely forgot about limiting the number of available permits.

If there is a dispensary can you still donate to caregivers?

Yes but once a dispensary opens all patients within 25 miles can not grow and their caregiver can no longer grow for them. Once this happens the only legal supply for any caregiver is the dispensary.

Illegal to sell

Fuck Medical marijuana and all the laws and goverment it brings
Just make it legal to possess and grow

The door opening that medical marijuana laws that was supposed to occur has meant profit for some and goverment intervention for others
If people dont want it sold because they think of "evil" dealers
Than they shouldnt have a problem with people growing it for themselves and being prohibited from selling it.
no taxes
no cops
no stupid laws regarding how much you can grow for yourself or not

The dispensaries are like any other biz in the world....the best ones (10%) will keep improving and growing and will control 90% of the market. High Prices that everyone keeps crying about make me laugh. I can get a box of wine for $5 or a bottle of high end bells and whistles wine from a supersalesman for $5,000+ a bottle.

You can go to Cheepie shoe chain and buy shoes for $10 a pair, or $20 at Walmart or $50 at a better shoe store or $150 at a high end dept store or $5000 on Rodeo Drive, the point is...they all get you to the same place.

The farmers market at wegrow today has vendors that are growers....most are cool people, some are clueless and most important.. people will pay for product that is sold to them at whatever the price the salesman sells it at.

There will be bad dispensaries and a few good ones...there will be bad growers and a few good ones...there will be bad salespeople and a few good ones. There will always be buyers for any quality product and at any price!!

Who cares
When dispensaries have a monopoly enofroced by power of law to have you arrested
Then they can go fuck themselves. I would rather there be no dispensaries and having the law say it is legal to grow and possess illegal to sell than have a store that takes away your right to grow for yourself.

at some point low grade, low potent and or cut with a filler mj cigs in packs sold everywhere. they will vary in potency and price depending on brand but will not exceed a certain % thc. that will be the legal smoke. growing and selling and possesion of any other will be illegal, and if you need top shelf, you will get it from a pharmacy. sorry i dont need to ramble on with this nonsense.

maybe we should either go to school and get a degree in biochemistry or buy stock in phillip morris.

idk i just want to grow my own for personal use.

I've seen the exact same weed sold for $280 and $600 per oz. Exact same fucking weed.

Truth be told, there is no weed worth $20 per gram, just weed sold to lame asses who paid $20 per gram.

Yes, the dispensaries can go fuck themselves. With a 2x4 shoved up their ass with no lubricant. Their time is gonna come. I'll be they all wind up loosing their asses before this is over and done.
