Hello everyone,
I have red your 400W and now your 175W astir grow, the most impressive journal I red, thank you.
I was hesitating for my DIY on the cree and all this BS, but after this I am definitely going to make 8 of your panels myself (because I like DIY) and I want to try different spectrum.
But I was wondering, is Satisled 1W good ? they say it's bridgelux chip (for white) it should be as efficient as your one. or maybe you use great 1W coming from else where?
And I look at prices, making a 3W led panel or 1W led panel is the same price, so I was wondering if the light coming from 3W led will not "go deeper" in the canopy? I am also planing to do a side by side comparison with lenses and no lenses. Why did you choose not to go with lenses (like Apache tech for exemple)?
At what distance do you put your panel to keep them short? because I remember you said 35cm to make them stretching.
So many other questions I would like to ask, like can you give me some of your green talent? ^^

Yeah, I said exactly this,
but on other hand it's possible to find 3W led made of two 1W chips, so consuming 2W and outputting exactly the same amount of light than two 1W led.
but I guess I will have to read all his thread and ask him.

(as good as cheap chinese leds can be) they say it's bridgelux chip (for white) it should be as efficient as your one. or maybe you use great 1W coming from else where? no we use these kind of leds exactly because they are cheap and the quality is fair enough..
And I look at prices, making a 3W led panel or 1W led panel is the same price, so I was wondering if the light coming from 3W led will not "go deeper" in the canopy? it will go deeper but they need bigger distance from the canopy. different philosophy.that's why aslgp series works best closer to the plants so it'w great for scrog technics.. I am also planing to do a side by side comparison with lenses and no lenses. Why did you choose not to go with lenses (like Apache tech for exemple)? because with NO lenses you have better mix of your spectrum. you can do the test with the upper part of your palm..
At what distance do you put your panel to keep them short? we usually place ASL panels 5-20cm above it.. because I remember you said 35cm to make them stretching. yes if you want your plants to be streched for some reason..
