Asian Lady Beetles

Imported into the USA as a predatory insect to control aphids, I was wondering if these would be safe to use in my indoor garden as a preventative. They are not the same as "ladybugs" but still eat aphids and such....

I have nothing but a few fungus gnats and springtails. But my house is a magnet for asian lady beetles and I have an unlimited supply of them.

I would research to double check but if they eat aphids that would be sweet. I have found that "ladybugs" have a tendency to fly into the light before they kill all the prey but maybe just my bad luck. my bro uses them in his greenhouse though and swears by them
