Good day good people, culture, community, advocates, warriors, patients, caregivers.

The time is NOW!

We all know where we stand as of right now, nothing more needs to be said.
We know where this country is going with legalization, nothing more needs to be said.
We know what drives corruption, greed, and control in our state, our nation, our world.

Today, I would like to ask the community to open discussion, hearts, and minds. I would like to encourage you all to become involved as advocates and supporters of a common goal.

After all that has transpired, we have all concluded that there is need for a place. A place for all.

Many visions of this place have been dancing in minds across the state. People have spoken, meetings have taken place, nightly conversation. We want now, to build the dream. Before the chips fall, and the stone has been overturned, we unite, take back, free, and set a precedent. We are one community. We know cannabis is and always has been a saviour of man.

Let us build a place for all, a place you may come and be free, be comfortable, be healthy, be well. Help others, be helped. Find friends, join family. Live life to its fullest as it was inteded. As you choose. As your freedoms allow.

As a community, we are building the dream!

WELCOME TO THE FUTURE!

In short, this is not about me, its about you.

As some of you know, I have been dealing with my own issues. But who hasn't. I had to close my business, I lost my home, my health is showing the wear. Sound familiar?

Over the holidays amazing things happened. A group of great folks began talk of a place for folks to come and be well, be helped, and help others. A community type place. A cultural venue.

It was agreed upon that we will make it happen.

Who's we? Well, at the time, it was a group of us. Actually it was several groups coming together. Now, its EVERYONE!

We have a common dream. To be well, to live well. Together, we can build it! A place to do just that!

I will leave the floor open to everyone to jump in. Though we all come together, unite, and act as one, we are individuals representing our selves and our own organization, business, groups, and entities. Feel free to join forces without necessity to join anyone. Do as you wish and help as you may. This is what opportunity you make of it.

THE FLOOR IS NOW OPEN

Sounds great! Not sure what direction this group is headed, but I'd like to see something set up (with the blessing of the state .... or maybe without??) to serve people in need. Vets coming back from service (a staggering amount of which are homeless, commit suicide, can't find work, etc), people on fixed incomes/public assistance, cancer patients, and so on. A place where people can get meds, oils, information, grow classes, etc. Stockpiling meds would be a must, so that's perhaps where the suits in Lansing need to be brought in on it.

IMO, every caregiver should be growing a high cbd strain. Even if you don't have a patient that needs it. The stuff is truly medicine. I have personally witnessed the transformation of 2 patients .... one with dravets syndrome (seizures) and one with ulceritive colitis. The dravets patient has gone from several seizures a day to a couple a month. He has cut his pharmaceutical regiment down to next to nothing. Just a coconut oil infused with high cbd flowers. The ulceritive colitis patient has dropped his prednisone (steroid) treatments from 20mg a day, to 5mg a day and dropping. He's saying he hasn't felt this good in 10 years. A colostomy bag was in his near future prior to starting with the infused oil regiment, and now the doctors are saying there is no need for the surgery. Any auto-immune disease is a great candidate for high cbd meds.

I'm rambling a bit, but it would be really nice to see a brick and mortar home for something like this, or a network of people and places that could accommodate. I guess homeless beans kind of already has something similar in motion. Maybe just expanding on that. Either way, I like your thinking. You know I'm down to help.

You said a place where folks could come and be well , be helped , and help others , it sounds like a wonderful place , I once met a guy named Homeless in MI , if there are angels on this earth he for sure is one of them , and woodsmantoker it appears you may be one also .

Would this place be located in MI somewhere ?

50+ years ago while in high school our class motto’s were . “Anything a man can conceive and truly believe he can achieve “ and “ Together we are One “
They hold true even in this day and age .

My name is Uncle Pete and marijuana saved my life. I have since dedicated my life to educating others about the most powerful medicine on the planet.

The place described above has been dreamed about by many of us. We have talked about it, even had events that resemble it. But to have a full time place full of love, compassion, education, organic food and medicine, etc......well this is just long over due.

We can make this happen as a community. It will take a community to make it happen.

We are excited about the endless potential such a place could have and are willing to go ALL IN to make it happen. WE are POT committed.

Be careful, there is a push in Michigan to outlaw home grows and require you to obtain your meds from a pharmacy. I doubt this will happen but big money will influence change. As a provider/grower I do worry about these things. Senate Bill 660 will open a secondary way to obtain weed, however the chief complaint to LARA was bad caregivers. Issues like mold and poor quality were among the majority of the complaints.

I think poor caregivers is a real problem. They significantly cheapen the system. But I'm still growing my own tomatoes.

I am very worried about this myself. They did it in Canada, and we are using their model, giving growing contract to a Canadian company Prairie plant sysems. All home growers in Canada now have to turn in their grow equipment to the government. What idiot would complain to LARA about caregivers? Maybe dispensary owners? If you look at Prarie Plant Systems, they can't do any better, their weed was full of mold and harmful chemicals, metals. Now they IRRADIATE it, I don't want irradiated food or meds.

atta boy! --gurrl;-)

Besides they took the Health Dpt original format.....>recommendation

and turned it over to LARA.....>licensing and regulatory

no one ever talks about that.....seems like they had a plan to regulate from the beginning

theres another forum where they helped them i believe ....herd us into this

yes the 'wholistic' approach is the way

whole---everyone focused on the same thing---->'As One'

other sites have fractured the community in little pieces all going in different directions and obscuring their agenda

stOw, do you grow that CBD strain? I have a potential patient that has epilepsy, and am looking for a proven high CBD strain that works on seizures. I have a large cloner and would be happy to clone them gratis for anyone on here that has a card. If you have a cut, I could get it going.

Are there any meetings set up, or is this just in the dream stage? I found a huge industrial warehouse in mid michigan over 38000 sq ft. My dream is to buy this. Looking for partner to get it going. I've just been waiting for legislation, but without organization and our OWN lobbyists, big business always wins.

Woodsmantoker you are a great asset to this community and any community for that matter. So are the rest of you that care about patients. This is something that I dream of seeing every day I have spoke on it many times and tried many times to bring communities together as one. Even if we do not agree on all aspects most of the communities agree on one thing. That cannabis helps many and should be allowed to help many. After all that is why we got this law passed. I am here brothers and sisters............. I will not go away................ I stand with you all............... and always will............ I wish to help out in any way that I am capable with all my illnesses and I encourage ALL of you to join in this push to bring EVERYONE together for the sake of us all. It is a thankless task but one that I know many of us do everyday and we will continue to do it. For every patient or person for that matter that gets help from cannabis there is thanks be it verbal or not the thanks is there. Trust me those people feel it in their hearts and you should feel it in yours.,
