Around 4 weeks into flowering (outdoor) pistils, strong smell but no buds???

I have been growing this plant from seed since october so its about the fifth month. White pistils started appearing recently and the flowers have a very strong smell but i cant seem to find any buds.
What's wrong with it? How much time does it normally take to start seeing buds swelling? :weed:

yep, pictures always help, both to catch peoples attention and to get good advice, but it do sounds pretty normal to me, once a weed plant resive less then 13 hours light it will begin its stretch and begin to set flowers, normally it take 2-4 weeks depending on strain, once it done with the stretch and have set its flowers (pistils/white hairs) it will begin to bulk up and add weight to the flowers (next 3-5 weeks) once the swelling is done it will take a few weeks more to mature and get ready for harvest, depending on how you like your smoke and what strain, some Indicans can finish in 8 weeks time some Stavias can go for +12 weeks
 
i hate to ask this, but have you switched the plant to flower lighting yet?? meaning, is she under 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness to induce flowering?
 
If I'm not mistaken he said it's an outdoor grow.... Would he mean specifically using rays of the sun? Then that would be mother nature's job :)
 
yeah, she's starting to bud up nicely.. another month and a half or so and you'll be loving life.. :D

btw, plant looks nice.. good job. :D

Lol yea. I've noticed that for a cannabis forum, people are pretty edgy and snap easy. Was more so expecting like "lol man how many dubes you smoke today cuz buddy said outdoor" not "RAWR your an idiot blah blah.." lol
