So, I was mixing a batch of Neem & Rid-Bugs for bug prevention on all my plants inside & outside. I noticed Rid-bugs smells a lot like the mix of oils I use inside the house in my aroma therapy diffuser.... I looked at its ingredients and it’s veg oil mixed with essential oils like rosemary, clove, etc....

Rather than spray on my quickly plumping buds, I moved the machine into the grow box. Works great! The occasional whiff of bud “on the air” is completely gone replaced by the beautiful aroma therapy, and bugs stay away.

My machine runs until dry and takes just about a day. So daily top off with water and 4-5 drops of Rid-Bugs is all it takes.

I’m a F.N.G. So I’d love thoughts from you more experienced farmers.

Thx, Bronco

Cool idea. My grow tent is in the back of my workshop/studio, and its virtually impossible to keep the studio bug/insect free..this could well help a great deal...

Full disclosure update: so it’s been a few days. Today went to top off the machine and it had like a dozen dead ants inside..... now, to be honest I spilled some dog food over the weekend and haven’t cleaned it up yet. I don’t see any ant trails. Anyways, I’m gonna clean up the mess, but today I’m using my full recipe of bug deterrents in the aroma therapy machine & when lights go out I’m gonna give em a soaking...

Updates to come....

You only need a teeny bit of soap to be there to act as a surfactant. Without it, oil and water dont mix.
