ive recently brought my (now 7ft monster) and her sister into my closet for flowering, all was going really well until "the mites" appeared, thanx to my local grow shop i had that problem sorted within hours. now its about week 3 in flowering and all of a sudden ive got silver shiney slug trails on my leave's. i killed 2 the other day but im worried i might have more in the soil ( as they where grown outdoors ).

what can i do to stop these barstwards?

I alse have some very small ( about 1-2 mm long ) bugs that are on my soil, they seem grey in colour and can either fly or jump very high/far. ive never seen them actually on the plant/leave's and im guessing there not harmful, but would sum1 mind telling me what these are please?

Put a thin layer of very fine sand on the soil/medium around the stem of your plant(s) covering at least a foot from the stem. This should kill any larvae and stop any other slugs coming near. A small amount of salt wont hurt either.

ty for your advice, i have some fine sharp sand i can use, my landlady ( the star she is for letting me grow ) says to use broken egg shells around the stem or to cut a plastic bottle up so its a cylinder with a hole at each end and put it round the stem with sharp edge's sticking up ( thats what she does on her rose's ).

So what about these little jumping/flying things? they look like silver fish but a lil bit greyer.bongsmilie

Whatever they are and eggs will be killed under the sand as it doesnt let oxygen penetrate to them apparently.
