Area 51 Website

Is it just me or is it impossible to buy shit off Area 51's website. I've been trying for days. You can't pay with a credit card which is retarded so you have to use PayPal. The weird thing is that it never actually takes you to the PayPal site, it just throws up this error.

An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (35) error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure

If you are in business to make money why make it so damn hard for people to get your product? I really would prefer the Area 51 light but if I can't even place an order I bet it will be a real bitch to get any warranty service or customer service in general. I guess I'm going to have to go with Platinum LED.

Platiwho?

Seems a bit of a transitional period right now. If not 51 i'd be careful spending too much with all the new leds on the horizon

Maybe something flexible like a hans panel..

are you using ghostery, or ad block plus, or anything like that?
I've never had any trouble ever buying anything on line. I just have a regular Mac with the latest updates. Tried my iPad too and the same shit. I am outside the US so maybe Area-51 has some shit to detect IP addresses or something. Its irritating.

I don't get why they don't take credit cards. I see people using fucking credit cards at McDonald's for a goddamn hamburger.

All I have to say is a51 is an american company. One that has one 2 employees.
They are selling lights faster than they can make them. They pump out lights as fast as they can and sell them right away.

If you can't buy one...they probably don't have one(even if it might say in stock)
Are they the probably the best premades out...ya....
Are they multinational forbes company...hell no...
They do what they can and as fast as they can do it.
I seriously hope you guys realized that. And if there is problem with the site...it is not something personal towards you. It is just life and business of a very busy but very small company.

HERE IS THE BEST PART...
If you want the light...you need to wait or deal with it. There really isn't any other comparable options...a51 is actually the cheap option when it comes to guaranteed performing panels.

I"m am really sick of people bitching about their site. Apache's is even worse so I can relate. But in the end..they are VERY SMALL companies that make the best lights...and if someone wants them play alone. Jeff/a51 could probably care less if a few people are turned away by it. But they are the only ones making that light at that price.

A51's website and payment processor is having syncing issues. Something to do with Paypal's SSL certificates.

There was going to be a brand new website to go with the launch of the new lights in April, but started using the new website early because of the syncing issues. Everything works, it's perfectly synced and secure. A51led.net

I'm gonna try it again then. I held out on pulling the trigger for a couple days on another brand hoping something would give. We shall see.
