Are your plants this bushy?

IMG_0794.JPG white cookies and dark angel in a 5x5 with 1000w MH bulb. FFOF/HF mix with 30% perlite. They're going into 6 weeks. Not tall, they're around 7-8" (not counting pots) but extremely bushy. I've topped them at did some LST between the 3-5th nodes.

Did I stunt them? Or the strain this bushy. I have a 6.5 ft grow tent so I'd like 4ft tall plants. They're currently in 3 gallon pots but I plan on transplanting to 5 gallon pots before flowering.

I mean no offence, but it looks like you stunted them and kept them as bushes yourself. 1000w MH after 5 weeks veg plant would be 20-30" tall even with topping/lst/mainline.

Not a huge deal, your out some time and electricity, they still look healthy, just need to veg a little longer than normal to get to yoour optimal size

That's what I was thinking. I think I'm 4 more weeks out before they're decent size to flip.

You'll be looking at a couple of nice harvests before summer then! Good job! My very first grow I got 4 a plant so I base that as average as I didn't know what I was doing lol. I've just had a crop before Christmas 10 blue cheese got 40 ounce so again 4 per plant.
 
First don't repot autos and second the start flowering when they want to so they may shoot up yet, I've found when I veg under a mh they remain small m bushy but with a hps they stretch so don't putt anything keep at it but maybe raise your lights but with correct ventilation I don't see why not
