Are you worried?

I've been a lurker for a few weeks now, and it seems that a lot of people are pretty lax with their info - even those that grow will let others know what city they're in a lot...

Are you worried about getting busted at all?

I know most people on here are just small time, but I'm curious to know how you stay "undetected" when laying that sort of info out there.

I live in San Diego, in a suburb called Clairemont as a matter of fact. I'm always growing 50-80 plants, and my picture is in my profile.

First off, if you're really worried, check out http://www.torproject.org. You can start a gmail account and a RIU account using that gmail account while using Tor if you're really paranoid. Sometimes the peace of mind that you're being a little more anonymous is enough to justify the slower speeds.

As for why you don't read posts on here saying, "Damn! The Feds saw my pictures and busted down my door!" is because there's safety in numbers. This is one of 10 forums this size on this subject, each with thousands of posters. LEOs have local stuff to deal with most of the time, and the DEA is after big multifaceted operations. Busting up violent gangs that fight bloody territory wars is more of a priority than some guy growing a few pounds of pot a year to make ends meet. It's easier to follow a snitch lead than to data mine and secure warrants across jurisdictions. Also, I have yet to see an address or phone number on this website
