PH is right around 6 and PPM is actually lower at 620. We had it at 850ish, but the roots started getting brown and the tips of leafs started getting brown and curling too. WE thought nute burn so we took some water out and added new. Water temps 72 and box temp is 76ish. Were running the lucas forumla also, which is no grow, just micro and bloom

They look like they can be saved. Since you said that they have been recovering just keep doing the same thing you have been. Make sure you don't over water them. They are green so that is a very good sign. What is the temp and humidity in the room? That could be a factor..

I keep my veg. humidity at aroud 60% but 80% is alright just don't let it get much higher, are you using any nutes yet? Because if you start nutes too early then that's a problem.

Yeh we are running General Hydroponics for the Lucas Formula, basically you dont use any grow formula throughout the entire grow. Its a 1 to 2 ratio of Micro to Bloom. PPM is set at 620, tap water was 260 and we added about 400 of nutes. Also forgot to mention that we got these girls already rooted!

what causes the tips of leafs to turn brown, and brown roots? We added some h2o2 to the solution to kill any bacteria.. but i feel they should be growing a lot faster under a 600w mh.

how close are you're lights ? from lookig at the pics it looks like heat stress to me...I don't understad why you would'nt use a grow nute, plants need plenty of nutrients to grow big and strong like we like them..lol

not heat stress it doesnt go over 82* in the cab. water is a cool 60* just emptied out and added just pH'd water. No nutes added yet, Im going to wait a week and see if these girls grow some big ass roots. Would it damage the plant to run a growth nute after we ran micro and bloom?

Won't hurt a thing just remember to start out at 1/4 strength and work your way up to recomended dosage.I realize your temp in your cab is ok but I was wondering how close your lights were to the plants . I had a small leaf touch my 40w full spectrum cfl an it burnt it to a crisp. If you are using hps or mh lights I would keep them about 36 inches from plants until they get established. just my opinion hope it helps....keep us updated and let us know how they are doing...autotek500
