wow, very informative thread. wished i read this before i prematurely chopped my plant last night. bummer, now im thinking about how much weed i wasted.
i got scared the moment i saw a few amber trichs thinking it's degrading to the toilet and decided to chop since i'm after the sativa high.
your 5% red chop rule applies to early amber strains right?
would you follow those with sativa dominant characteristics? how about indicas or what not
harvest time for me is a very confusing time indeed

i think you should put your basic rules at the 1st page to newbie growers like me.
like the 5% rule (picture was of a great help), what to look out for to check if bud is mature. rather than getting a bunch of people to ask you if their plant is ready for chop

Indicas do not have the early amber gene but Hybrids do
I have always buried the good stuff in my threads for those that read the whole thread
